[​IMG]<span style="font-size: 20pt">"I'm happy to wait for next summer"</span> is the 2nd VF5 version C tournament at South Korea's Cafe ID. This is a 2vs2 tournament. Update: Tournament has ended! Congratulations to the top finishers:

[​IMG] A large VF5:FS team tournament is to be held in Japan on 9th October 2011. The tournament will also be streamed on Ustream. For those wanting to watch it while using VFDC shout box, we will have the event embedded on VFDC home page.

[​IMG]Battle Arena Melbourne (BAM) - October 1-2, 2011 VF5 tournament in Melbourne, Australia as part of the 2-day Couch Warrior's BAM weekend long event. The Virtua Fighter 5 tournament will begin around 1 pm on October 2nd, 2011.

This was also mentioned in D.K.'s Blog #99. From what I can gathered - Sega will be giving a special "title" to the team that wins.

If you have been following the Japanese VF scene, you will recognize many of the players participating in this event which includes: <span style="text-decoration: line-through">Itoshun (Brad)</span>, <span style="text-decoration: line-through">Ohsu Akira (Akira)</span>, Kofu Megane (Aoi), <span style="text-decoration: line-through">SHU (Shun)</span>, Kurita (Taka), <span style="text-decoration: line-through">Zedoman (Lei)</span>, <span style="text-decoration: line-through">Fuudo (playing Jacky?)</span>, Jin (Kage), Homestay Akira (Akira), Kyasao, and many more.

[​IMG]It's been a long, long time since Sega has revived one of their main tournaments, but finally, Kakutou Shinseiki VI has been announced! Will we see the KSV champ, Tomalion defend his title or will there be a new champ crowned? There are no other details at the moment, but Sega is promising details very soon about this new national tournament. Stay tuned!
[​IMG]Saturday 17th September 2011 in Seoul Korea - A VF5 Ver.C (on Xbox 360) singles tournament will be held at Cafe id.

The tournament is scheduled to start at 6PM (Korean time) and will be streamed live on: http://www.twitch.tv/drakefang

UPDATE - The tournament and stream are over! Many thanks to Cafe id, drakefang, and the Korean VF community for a wonderful event! Tournament footage is available on drakefang's Youtube channel, and you can view the full bracket with results online as well.
