This will be last weekend of preliminary qualifiers (prefecture based) before the final KSVI tournament (March 17th, 2012)! The VF.TV Live Channel will be streaming the third Tokyo qualifier on March 4th, 2012 at 2pm JST. The Railway Series ninth team point ranking battle of the 13th VFR season. This will be a "HC Cup format" and will start on March 3rd around 6 PM JST. This event is expected to be streamed either on VFRTV channel or Nistel Jacky's Channel. Sega is debuting the first look of the console version of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown at Final Round XV this weekend in Atlanta starting Friday, March 2.Sega will have two console setups featuring the upcoming release for PSN & XBLA available to play for all three days at the tournament. The setups will only have offline Versus mode.
I will be there and do my best to report.

2. Online support for replay saves and uploads.

The 2012 Tokyo Bay Area Cup season starts off this weekend! The Bay Area Cups 3on3 tournaments are unique in that teams made at the beginning of the season remains the same at the end of the season. At the end of the season, there is a Climax Series to determine the best team overall. Gamespot's On the Spot February 23rd show have an interview with Patrick Riley (Syzygy on VFDC), a Producer on the console version. According to the Sega Blog Story, Patrick will be discussing the console features and will be showing off the actual game running on the Xbox360 and/or PS3.

For those that did not had the opportunity to play Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution on the PS2 or for those that want to revisit the game, the European PSN store have the game available as a DLC! It will cost £7.99/€9.99. Currently, besides PSN Europe, the game is not listed in other PSN stores.
