More interesting was an interview of the console port team: Toru Murayama (Director, Left) and Yusaku Egami (Game Designer, Right). Both of them had previously worked on the Daytona USA port.

[​IMG] The VF5FS pre-console tournament series at South Town Arcade (STA) continues! This is the second out of five scheduled tournaments at STA and will be streamed on Iplaywinner, March 30th, 2012. The tournament is expected to start around 7 PM PST.

Due to online voting polls, the original VF5 game was selected as one of the four singles tournaments to be featured in this event. If you could not attend the event, please show your support by watching the online stream at VS Scotland channel! Tentative schedule for the VF portion:

[​IMG]The second volume of the 2012 Tokyo Bay Area Cup season will be held and streamed on March 25th, 1PM JST on: Newton Live. Team Satani Fantastic Circus (ä½è°·å¤§ã‚µãƒ¼ã‚«ã‚¹) dominated the first volume (159 players) by taking first and second place (Team Members: Kuuchou (KA) / Jin (KA) / Mukki Akira (AK) / Homestay Akira (AK)).

The Bay Area Cups 3on3 tournaments are unique in that teams made at the beginning of the season remains the same at the end of the season. [​IMG] Even though the official major Sega tournaments--Kakutou Shinseiki VI and Battle Audition 4th season--have recently ended, there are plenty of high level tournament events from Japan. This weekend alone there will be three 3on3 Bay Area Cups! With volume 4 of the Kansai Bay Area Cup, there appears to be three teams separating from the rest of the pack - Team Family Gyouza (ファミリー餃å­) / Team Bikkuriman (ビックリマン) / Team Yuunagi Kindgom (夕凪キングダム). This event is expected to be streamed live on the Kansai Bay Channel on March 25th, 2 PM JST tournament start time.
