The Punishing the Cast series of videos have been completed for a while, but the information and its presentation would be a valuable resource for many players. After successfully blocking against certain attacks, it leaves you with enough advantage that you can get guarantee damage off your opponent. A few days ago Summer Jam 6 had 32 entries for the VF5:FS tournament. The top 8 was streamed lived but if you missed it you can check out the archive in a playlist with the matches.

After the tourney was over Cozby challenged Chief Flash to a first to ten money match. These were some intense matches that are definitely worth watching. (NSFW)

So far, a total of four events in VFDC's Online League, the VF Circuit, have been completed. Two additional round robin events have been announced: the 360 League Round Robin #3 on August 27th and the PS3 League Round Robin #3 on September 10th. As stated before the Circuit began, divisions and prizes will be determined based on the number of participants before the first Major Event (September 15-16). Some of these prizes are mentioned below.

Based on the current number of participants, there will be a total of 7 Divisions - 4 in PS3 (Japan / Europe / Eastern North America / Western North America) and 3 in 360 (Europe / Eastern North America / Western North America). The top 3 players in points per division will received the Mad Catz Prize at the end of the season!

One of the goals of the Circuit is to promote the growth of the VF community and also players' participation in organized events. Based on player's participation in the Circuit, certain players will received the SEGA Prize.

Moscow, Russia - August 25th, 2012 (The Virtua Fighter portion) will be featured in the Moscow Fighting Arena 2012 event! This annual multi-fighting game event is its ninth year.

Telford, United Kingdom - August 26th, 2012. Insomnia 46 on Sunday with a 32 man (max cap) singles tournament.

Tokyo and Kansai region, Japan - August 26th, 2012. The Tokyo and Kansai Bay Area Cups (3on3 tournaments).

Brooklyn, NY, USA - August 28th, 2012 - The regular occurring battles at Next Level.

Seoul, Korea - September 1st, 2012 - Cafe:Id VF5FS Single Tournament.

Sydney, Australia - September 1st, 2012 - from the southern hemisphere, Ozhadou presents YSB14, which is a qualifier for EB Expo!

Columbus, OH, USA - Just Play Games VF5FS Tournament - August 20. A new venue in the Columbus, Ohio area with $1,000 dollars to the first place finisher.

Philadelphia, PA, USA - GVN Summer Jam - August 25-26th. Hubbs supported the community for many years organizing VF tournaments since the original VF5 days.
