As of January 23rd, Virtua Fighter 5 for Playstation 3 has gone gold and has began production. This means that everything about the game is now finalized and on its way into stores.

Enterbrain has released the new mook for Virtua Fighter 5 in Japan today (12/26/2006) named Virtua Fighter 5 Black Book -Keep it MORAL-.

The book is based on the newly released Version B and will include frame data. A DVD is also included featuring the very top players of Japan for each character.

You can order this book from various Japanese book retailers by referring to the ISBN 4-7577-3118-3.

SEGA ANNOUNCES VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 FOR XBOX 360

Sega has officially announced the release of Virtua Fighter 5 for the XBOX 360 in late summer 2007. This news definitely caught many of us by surprise. Read the official press release above and discuss the VF5 announcement on XBOX 360 on the VFDC forums.

Sega has announced the release date of Virtua Fighter 5 for Playstation 3 to be February 20th, 2007.

The game will be based on Version B, but no word yet if the Virtua Stick High Grade will be released in the US.
