EVO posted a video of Seiji Aoki, Legacy Virtua Fighter Project producer, providing insight to the development and direction they are pushing with R.E.V.O. release for Steam. Some of the information is a repeat of what was revealed at the VF Direct, but there are some additional nuggets of information.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.0. will be part of the new extended lineup of EVO 2025 Las Vegas (August 1-3). Some might be more surprised by this announcement as the main events were leaked last week. "There are too many great games in the FGC to fit in the time limitations of EVO's arena; but these games and their communities still deserve to have an official tournament. Tournaments run by EVO and takes place on EVO stages...are showcase on EVO streams and earn EVO metals for top 8." - Rynge

Over the past 5 or so days the official VF discord hosted a poll for character popularity.

Keynote speech by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at CES 2025, show pre-development in engine footage of the New Virtua Fighter Project. Footage is not actual gameplay.

The two producers of current and future VF projects share their messages foe the new year.

A Famitsu interview (December 20,2024) of Riichiro Yamada, producer of NEW VIRTUA FIGHTER, and Masayoshi Yokoyama, Director of RGG. The interview goes into details leading to NEW VIRTUA FIGHTER Project and their ambition for the new game.

Open Beta session has ended! If you tried out the game, SEGA would your feedback, that you can directly provide in their Official Discord Channel. Deadline for feedback is 12/24 @ 10AM JST. The game officially launches on Steam, January 28, 2025.

Sega's Official 30th Anniversary site now has a section dedicated for beginners. A short guide/introduction to the 19 characters and also a FAQ. If your question is not answered in the FAQ, they will accept questions in their official discord channel. And of course, you can always ask questions in this thread on VFDC.
