Ten years ago today on July 12 2006, Virtua Fighter 5 was officially released in Japanese arcades. Where were you 10 years ago? Did you play "vanilla" VF5 in the arcade? At home? If you were 10 years too early back then, I guess you should be ready by now right? Happy 10 years, VF5!

Okamoto Kitchen is a food truck operating in the Los Angeles area that specialises in Japanese comfort food. Apart from being founded by VFDC's own @L_A and his wife, what else does Okamoto Kitchen have to do with Virtua Fighter? Well, you'll have to watch the video to find out!

Virtua Fighter in Sydney has been growing with a great community and steadily improving player base. The organisers of OzHadou Nationals, the longest running tournament in Australia have seen fit to make Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown an official game this year! The tournament takes place over 26 - 28 August 2016!

There are two types of people in this world. Those who think online petitions are a waste of time, and those who think that however slim the chance, there's no harm lending their voice to the cause. VFDC user @cmase1989 has taken some initiative to start an online petition to let SEGA know that We want Virtua Fighter 6! It'll literally take you a few seconds to fill out if you feel so inclined. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?
