Offline events? Team-based competition? A kumite where the player uses all the characters? This past week had a little bit of everything! Events with results and/or videos that occurred during July 7 - July 11, 2021 are listed in chronological order.

Ultimate Showdown has been out for a month and events are occurring more frequently. Just this past weekend we have 7 organized events from all over the world! Here is a summary of the various events with links to brackets and videos.

Seiji Aoki, producer of VF5US, posted on twitter that version 1.04 will be available at the beginning of July. This includes the requested invitation feature and various fixes to online-related issues.

At Evo Japan 2020 VF5FS was held as an official side tournament. It was capped at 64 entrants, heavily stacked with local Japanese talent and saw a thrilling Grand Finals played out between rising star Shiwapon and the legendary Homestay Akira! Shiwapon emerged as the Evo Japan 2020 Champion, showcasing his talent with a variety of characters during the top-8. Now, more than a year later, it's time for the runback! A FT10 revenge match exhibition will be streamed live this Friday, 18th June 2021 at 20:00 JST. Details inside!
