    just letting you know, I actually was really really deep into BB not too long ago. I played hundreds of hours of CT and CS1 and CS2. CS Extend was super boring to me, so I skipped that and I played CP (the best in the series by far) for about half a year or so. I dumped in so much time into that game, watched japan videos and climbed up the leaderboards when i could. I entered a few BB tournaments too, though not as many as my main games, Soul Calibur, Persona and VF. My main was Litchi, and I had a mediocre Hakumen and a terrible Tao as well.

    BTW, no, i'm not gonna bother with CP Extend or Central Fiction. Maybe I'll try it again when they put Jubei in, but even then, prolly not.

    I liked the series alot, but I have some gripes with it. One, there's a TON of systems to learn, on top of it being a deep game. That means you need to invest a ton of time into it just to learn how to play, as well as again to be competitive. It also is the main offender of what I hate most about Arc Sys games, which is how it has a laughably small input buffer. Something like 1 or two frames. I don't mind it in Xrd as much, but BB is full of overly long combos, including the BnBs. And you WILL need them to be competitive at all. So before I can even learn the game, before i can even figure out matchups, I need to sit down for several hours just practicing BnBs so I can land them in different environments consistently (including tournaments, and online). Hit confiming is pretty difficult too in that game. But when I DO get to play the game, now i have to figure out 30+ matchups. The reason i stopped is because the game is like old school arc sys games, where it demands nothing less than your full attention. Unless you're already an anime expert, you have to main the game to be any good, or else you are wasting your time. So I just went back to playing games i liked more, even though BB is aight.

    Your replies seem to make u think that you assume otherwise, but VF players here actually try out all types of fighting games. But you can't strong-arm everyone into loving your game as much as you do by being needlessly condescending.

    BB of all games? The only other game I would spend eternity in is "Under Night" thanks to @ShinobiFist.to many revisions to BB fucking characters up because of crybabies.

    I am relearning BBCP because my characters are so different now...I come from SF intially, so, even in BB, you throw all that SF knowledge out the window. You're not getting a super if some whiffs astral finish in your face for example. Also, you must guard in a variety of ways, which isn't a big issue for me. Some might have time adjusting to the long block strings and barrier mechanics.

    You say you want depth? Why not try Xrd, AH3, SF4, SF3, ST, TTT2, SCV or whatevs? Every FG has its own depth and quirks. You know, why not play VF? This is a VF site and it's not like no-one here ever tried any other FG. I've played dozens and for now, I've made my choice.

    I liked BB until they took my main girl Nu-13 out and replaced her with lamda, then brought her back later on but with alterations. Something about just removing my character completely made it damn near impossible to keep playing the game and have fun. Now I know how Taka players felt after VF3.

    You all have to play Crucis Fatal Fake. It's a very solid and interesting mix of vf and 2d fighting games. One of the best fighting games ive ever played, it does what needs to be freaking done by high budget companies now, and its just some cheap doujinshi game. These guys knew what they were doing.
