I see where you're coming from, but I think you're taking what I say a bit too literally. Sure you can learn anyone that way, but w/ Lei, you DO have a split second more to know what attacks are coming, unless of course he goes to another stance -- the time is minimal, but it's there, unlike Jacky who just unloads, and has strong highs, lows & mids -- Lei Fei is very weak on the low side.... on the flip side, his mid game is likely the best there is - great advice when playing against Lei FEi "When in doubt, don't duck."

The thing I find 'easy' about playing against Lei, is that there aren't a whole lot of people that have there 'own' style. Switching stances and attacking is very popular in high level play, and a lot of guys do the same cancels, same stance changes, and whatnot. Hence, as I said - he's much more readable than the other characters.

The only reason I say Lei more than others, is that I've gone up against some kickass Lei's before with Shun of all characters, who's really weak against Lei Fei IMHO, and smoked them, as I know what they're going to do. I even beat Heruru once out of the three times I played him, and he's up there.

    Again -- maybe it's a geographical thing.

here's a nice, though difficult to perfrom 112 dmg combo for lei:

    [3][K][G],[3][3][P][P],[6][P][P][P]
the first move floats your oponent (just be careful not to hit the second [K]), and the [3][3][P][P]floats him further, leaving you to perform [6][P][P][P] or [2][P][K]+[P], respectively. managed to achieve 112 damage on one occasion, and 109 on a second one. the first hit MUST connect thuogh, or it'll be an excersize in futility /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

Have you ever heard of a MOVELIST!??! Jeezus. You guys keep tying up these damn threads with completely useless posts! This site has MOVELISTS! If you took 5 seconds, you could've found that out yourself.

And, BareKnuckles, your posts are irritatingly small. When you see a post like Calvin's, just let it go man! Don't perpetuate posts like this, it's beyond annoying...

    venting...
