Rarely play VF5 much so haven't made much progress since. Message me on MSN if you want to play... Whenever the AoC servers are down is best time to get me.

Oh.. on another note.. I've just levelled 2 guys to lvl80 cap so that should open up more VF5 as I no longer need to grind so hard.

 

Lag is totally unplayable. How's the connection between Aussies? Will try to get on wed/thurs night. Probably going to bring my 360 to Jeff's on Fri & Sat night. Hopefully his adsl2 will be better than my shitty connection.

On a side note, I don't like the raise middle partof the hori SC4 stick. My palms are on the edge of the raised part. Grrrrr.

Edit: just got my arse handed to me by Myke. Lag is still bad but I think its more my isp's problem.

Thanks for the games, akiramike! That was the first time I've played VF5 in a couple of months - sorry if I was a bit rusty. I think we were having a pretty good bout by the end, though - you still had the edge, I think, but it was close enough to be really interesting.

I might start playing VF5 a bit more again - we seemed to have a good connection, and I forget how much I enjoy the game between times. It was a heck of lot more fun than SCIV, which you dragged me away from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I have a headset, but I usually don't use it. I'm often playing in the same room as my missus, while she's trying to do something else.

If I'm able to, I'll plug it in, but please don't take it personally if I'm silent - I might be trying to argue my way out of doing the dishes while also trying to play, that's all /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

My ratio against him is something like that as well. Did he show you the power of Shun's low kick?

 

akiramike: low kick didnt give me any problems (low throw after it hits), but his spacing and movement was too good for me. (not to mention that his basics are a lot better too)

myke: its far far better than my connect to sydney

 

Thanks to Myke for the beating yesterday. Surprisingly, my connection to CPS2 who I played an hour earlier was pretty good while my connection with Myke was shoddy. Could be peak hour traffic or isp incompatibility.
