The tag was sitting in the Ranked lobby about 3 hours ago, literally playing nobody by the look of it, pathetic. Wonder if they keep a pen and pencil memo of who not to accept, as it must be a pretty long list by now...

Yep I didn't even go to evo and I placed the same as you. The only difference is I'm not out 100 bucks and I got to be there for my childs birth.

BGS to the internet connection i've been having lately been playing people with 5 bars & had "Crafty" lag. I'm not sure if it's my connection, but I called Comcast about it just to be sure, and I got rid of my 802.11b & upgraded to an 802.11g router just to be safe.

 

The lag in the room late last night was worse than it has been for some time. Not sure where Jacko is based? Obviously I am in Europe, but still plenty of North American connections work fine. Always worthwhile running a speedtest app on your line each week and making sure you're getting the service you pay for. Anyhow, I can see that Eileen has come on leaps and bounds, literally OK, I'm off to see the fam, catch up y'all next year

This piece of work used to refuse matches all the time with me back when they were Hunter rank, and would send me messages to make it look like they didn't speak English when I asked why they wouldn't play. We had a solid connection and everything, and sometimes they were the only ones left. I'm pretty sure to this day we've never played.

Well, that was fun. I thought I was going to lose being down like 8-1. I don't guess anyone streamed the fights. I will upload the last one to XBL. Shiny got better. I think what turned it around for me was:

(1) Using low punch crushing
(2) Using more circulars
(3) Changing the way I dealt with my stick. The buttons are really mushy and I cant release guard and hit punch or kick right away. I had to actually release guard earlier than I wanted to for all those little pokey exchanges.
(4) 33 at mid/long range

 

Yeah. I guess I should have stop trolling after you got that 4rd win and started taking you serious. I had a blast.

BGs to cold, nasty alaskan weather combined with vehicle troubles. Frostbite all ravaged fingers on my left hand. Going to have to take a few weeks off at least. Blisters, deadskin, 30% feeling a week later. Here's to wishing myself a speedy and full recovery.

Edit: not to say that i won't try to play at all. But so far it feels a hell of a lot more like the buttons are stabbing my fingers than my fingers are pressing the buttons.

Yeah I could make up lame excuses like my grandmother was Sick, blah blah blah . That means jack, some losers always have some lame excuse and are perpetually no-shows at tourneys. Arm chair quarterbacks that are ignorant enough to think online Fto10 are worth something. And the sad part is they still lose even at that garbage.
