XBL Bad Games

I just stand there when I win a round. I've seen too many people in other games rage quit or outright close lobbies due to post-round behavior. Although the VF community by-and-large is more mature than other communities (especially MK and SC), I just prefer to err on the side of caution and not do anything at the end of rounds.

Even though I find post-round shenanigans annoying, I set that aside for the remainder of the match and just make a mental note to not play that particular player again. I get more annoyed by the fact that I just lost than by being taunted after a round, since my losing is the proximate cause of my opponent taunting me. But for losing, I wouldn't have been taunted during the post-round.

This would be plausible, if others during the course of this discussion didn't state that he doesn't do the same thing to them. Since the record holds that he dash dances against some players but not others, the most likely conclusion is that he does it troll what he likely considers bad players.

I personally think that the end round antics and teabagging is funny. It doesn't bother me at all.

What does bother me are players who DON'T like to see you getting better. I play one dude on here and as soon as I start doing better and getting on him he picks kage next round and just rolls,jumps,ducks,and back dashes like a retard.What makes this even worse is that this player has a good degree of skill and knowledge at VF. As soon as I start doing better he will start doing borderline g-y stuff the next round. This player already has a bad reputation of being a sore loser.

I like to beat my opponents through pure skill or by out playing them. I love to see players get better. I prefer to avoid this player now.

 

Anyhow, bad form to ItalicMeo last night, who pulled the cord when I put his Akira up against the cage wall and hit him with 3 Pai palms. His whole game is predicated around the low hitting shoulder thing, lots of mids and the old bodycheck evade classic, so just reverse mid or step and float, and down he goes. Already on a yellow icon, so be advised.

HurricaneStrain, totally legit strong Brad player. I would have to switch to Aoi to deal with all those high and mid jabs everywhere!

Anyone complaining about post-round shenanigans is retarded. It's all a part of the game, and is simply a small way to express your victory. Anyone not post-round trolling with Eileen or Jacky would be doing it wrong.
Just last night my local opponent was pissed when I did a lame combo after a killing throw into a wall, and I agreed lol. Everyone should be trying to style, if they want to. It's fun. If your psyche can't take it, that's to my advantage. >:3

 

Given the context of this situation, I couldn't help but laugh at the typo "loose" instead of lose. #immature

I have been too busy too post stuff here, so just a couple things:

1) I don't think Hurricane Strain has his high rank from cherry picking because I have fought many fights against him and I have a high win% against him and he still comes back. I think he has a high rank because he has fought 10,000+ matches or something.

2) I can't believe people are still complaining about post-KO shit even after the stomp was removed. There is really not much you can do besides hop around and shit after a round. And some people really deserve to be taunted. Like if a person is throwing a dozen 2ps every round or if the person is constantly using the always fun back-away-and-load-up-the-spam-cannon technique, they should probably be taunted with low punches or backdashes (or the even worse backhopping). Yeah, yeah, everything is in the game so we all want to learn to punish these things yada yada... but we all know FS is not perfect and it does reward some wack shit more than it ought to.

 

I can also vouch for HurricaneStrain.

 

For all the the VF5R haters: gayness is fine; Lion and Brad should be allowed to get married.

 

i wasn't complaining about post round antics-i find them annoying if i am playing bad, but i know it's misplaced frustration. I usually only get annoyed @ the game if it's been a long week of work with too much travel.

Definitely agree with you Happy Friend, sometimes you just have to crouch and spam 2p after a win.

 

I constantly get picked on by hurricane strain and camelot kings. I get better when I fight them though. I'm not able to read minds across cyberspace though, so I don't know it they're trollin. I think I'll avoid jblack33 (or whatever). Fighting him makes me a worse player.

 

I hate to complain about a fellow pai player but Camelot Kings has been playing Pai for a long time and it doesn't seem like he changed much since the Vanilla days at all. There are certain people like him that make me wonder sometimes about their gameplay habits but that is who they are and I look to avoid him knowing what to expect when I see him. The last time I saw him I copied his simple style for the fun of it to mirror everything he did and it annoyed me to see him repeat that basic pattern again and again. He he at least tried to adapt at all to play a more well balanced pai game aside from that crap he usually does at all?

 

camelot kings was a notorious puller in vanilla. Judging by his rank and lack of pai skills, i'm about 85% certain he got there by pulling on FS. From the few matches i played him, and the few matches i have seen social play vs him, he is a basic, non-advanced, non-defending, cookie cutter pai. 1kk and canned combos seem to be the extent of his mix ups. No zoning, no traps, no set ups, no whiff punishers, no throw escapes despite how easy it is on FS.

 

I figured as much just like before somethings never change even with the new game and all and all the new options Pai has and he still uses the same crap as before. He might have gotten his rank by playing weak players too like hunters explaining why he always seeks out people like Andremelech thinking he is weak based on his rank. That is so sad to see

 

I fought camelot kings a lot when FS came out he kept destroying me because i was stupid & didn't know what he was doing but recently i played him and destroyed him ,now he doesn't want to fight me anymore. seems like cherry behavior to me. same situation with SweetSuki.

Wait out his crap out and destroy him with 3P+K or if he pressing buttons alot and he usually is using his own tricks against him using 1KK to show him how annoying his tactics are. You can launch him too alot since he is every likely spamming at disadvantage often. His pattern is easy to read a pai player should know how to deal this kind of thing if they want get a decent rank at some point because most Pais you see are like this as sad as it is for me to say it.

 

well i dont know anything about frames, disadvantages, spacing, fuzzy guarding all that stuff, but im coming up on almost 2000 looses now and about 100 of those are from CamelotKings and when i really got my stuff together and saw his pattern i jus 9p all day into combo and destroyed him. my best advice know how your op fights test them for a few fights if u hav too and snuff out their weaknesses, see how they react to the stuff you throw out then punish them
