I feel you. My guess is that you tried to interact with the wrong people but I'm just taking a stab in the dark. Anyways see you on the battlefield man

Glad to see the "RR" thing has been shelved. Ludicrous terminology, especially when you consider the average age here is like 30 years old. It's VFDC, not smashbr0schan :/

wierdo its me Jami, I gotta admit I think you got it backwards, the outsider feeling you got and the shit talking was from the same 1framekill guys that you now are "leaving" vfdc for. If you want intelligent discourse, I am here. Or i can refer you to some other awesome guys I chat with in Kage dojo and in general. I agreed with you that the "elite""we were here first" attitude is bogus, but that attitude is fostered by 1FK peeps.
I am wondering who at VFDC has been like this that wasnt a 1fk guy. The peeps i connect with on VFDC are the best, Evenpit, DrFam, Phanatik, SDS(yeah),chibi(both aya and tox)sevensided, VFNumbers I can go on and on, and these are guys that chat a bunch, share tactics, so on.

Truly no disrespect intended, these words by elliott smith ..

"If you're alone it must be you that wants to be apart"

BG's to JackoRCB. He got mad at me for refusing to play him after I lost to his Jeffry 3 times in a row. He kept sending me love letters to instigate something out of nothing. I ended up wasting my time by trying to talk to him like a reasonable human being.

Maybe I should just tell people to fuck off from now on? ;/

I've played JackoRCB. Terribly laggy games, but he seemed pretty good otherwise. It was in Room matches though, so i just gritted my teeth and tried to play through it.

I played him a few times and wouldn't stop challenging me after he beat me too. I saw him today he was like a Darkslayer, when I fought him before he was only like a Veteran

I only played JackoRCB 3 times 1 time in a room and 2 times in ranked. He outranks me then again most of the people I play outrank me I am still a crummy Guardian on XBL but I don't care anyway...

I haven't lost to him at all in 3 tries and he refuses to play me after that. I have seen him a few times but he always turns me down. I don't really care and I am not complaining about it but he goes out of his way to avoid me now. He is 1 of the few people I know that will knowingly avoid me on purpose. I don't see why he would want to avoid a newb Pai player like me anyway

Ok...if people are dumb, ignore them. If they cherry pick (cough-hurricane strain-cough) ignore them. There are good players out there. stick with the good. ignore the bad and they will go away.

even in room matches , where there is no cherry picking, Hurricane ends up troll playing. Man that guy's play rubs me the wrong way. I only am okay with troll play if its light hearted and thats what the room is doing, like with gastinell and kamais

Either dash dancing or jumping over my character's body repeatedly. Typical showboating moves popularized in Soul Calibur.

I guess he'll troll people if he perceives them as being far inferior in ability, since I usually don't win any rounds against him.

He kicks major ass indeed, one of the best I 've seen. You may be right about the mood thing, sometimes you just gotta get those 66p's out of your system :)

@pizzacat, i sometimes find excessive jumping annoying too. Or it irritates me when people emulate stomps (i.e. brad low kick, lei/goh stomp, etc).

However, i would be careful not to take offense to dash dancing. That actually serves the purpose of reinforcing to oneself the need to use movement the following round. I guess in other words, i do this and never to gloat, only to prim myself for the next round.

If you want to piss him off. Bring up the fact that he still has his Vcard and listen to Nickelback.

After winning a round, I sometimes like to do "twinkle toes" or K~G dances for no reason other than to entertain myself. I never intend to use them as taunts, but if it does fluster my opponent, I can't say I wouldn't use that to my advantage. ;)

As for Hurricane, I'm not sure what made the guy want to challenge me up to ten times when there were far higher ranks playing that night. Still had some fun close matches with him, none the less.

lol he probably lost to those higher ranks and wanted to re-pad his rank bar :/ I don't actually know this hurricanestrain, so just a hypothesis.

People do that. Heck, one guy on PSN even got up to the lord ranks by cherry picking hunters and pulling when he lost to good players!

Wow that must have took a LOT of hunters

Bah, don't take it to heart bruh, maybe he is tryin to make you upset, maybe he isn't. I do that same stuff you described just cause it's something for me to do after the K.O.. I even hit the KO'd body if they're crumpled right. Just something to do.

Sometimes people even kick/swing low like Social said. But at the same time it's like, "So I can't do those moves after the round is over?"

I think sometimes people take post round stuff a little too seriously. Some may say, "Oh you dancing around cause you finally won a round/match?" When Ida/they'd been doing the same thing if I been winning all the rounds lol. If I was losing, I wasn't doing it cause I couldn't, was sleep on the ground hahah.

In VF5 there was a lil "etiqite" (whatever) thing bout hitting, stomping, pouncing on people after the KO. And some may think they show etiqite by standing still after. And what's ok to do.

Anyways, try not to care too much. Chances are, maybe he just wants to hit some buttons and do funny looking stuff that you can't really do during a match. Don't trip.

    every advantage helps.

If they are dancing (stepping) then chances are they are using their pet step moves. Wait for it next round, they'll do the same thing most likely. Should be able to get at least one free combo off of teh telegraph.

If they are doing a move/combo over and over, its probably an input that they have trouble doing during play. Look for them to drop it DURING the round and be ready to punish.

Or if they are just dorking around, don't sweat it. Remember it and do your own version back after you win a round, or to start the next round if you have enough room. (such as if they are jumping around like a monkey).
