I want to say this is the premier VF site and now I'd NEVER direct a friend/acquaintance/stranger to this forum now. It makes VF look sooooo bad. I just can't believe it. I mean we begged sega (as a vfdc community) to publish VF r and fs, and if they came and read this forum they wouldn't want to touch us with a 10 ft poll. The vanguard of the vfdc players are the worst of the lot. It's pathetic.

I can see why denkai,GT, and other good players won't post here.

You still miss the point of our conversation that day. What you said after we figured out the misunderstanding and in the process revealed things about your opinions of me. It has nothing to do with who started the dialogue. What mattered was the manner in which you conducted yourself during that discussion that turned me off to chatting with you.

That wasn't the first time that you had taken things to places where it didn't need to go. My decision wasn't an isolated incident. You say you're different in person, or easier to not misinterpret, okay fine that's great so we'll chat in person. But until then I'd rather keep our interactions limited to the VF arena where we understand one another.

And you missed the point of my reply. The reason that you chimed in and jumped on Tink Tink's lil bandwagon (lol) was that, supposedly, you and I had similar issues. His claims were that I was "salty" (lol X2) and here you were claiming that it wasn't until you "stepped up your game" that all of a sudden problems came up.
Dude, don't switch up your story, stick to it. According to you there's issues between you and I cuz you're "better" now, right? Isn't that what you told me, that you're "better than me"? Lol, again, do whatever mental gymnastics you gotta do. I don't play this game to be #1 anything anymore. Evo was well worth the trouble and effort. Vanilla was a downgrade but it was kinda worth it. FS is a downgrade of a downgrade and isn't worth the trouble, imho. FS isn't a 1/4 of the game that Evo was/is.
I play for fun now more than ever.

So the question is: who's got more to lose? Who's ego is more likely to get bruised off of losses?

God damn man. I come to the only fucking connected VF scene and I already have people who just constantly attack people for no reason. Thats why I said fuck VFDC, because I should have just not come here. Hate. Mostly from veterans. For what? You see I really haven't responded to you, yet you constantly talk about me. You sent me a message first. You started it AND got the last word. I'm too grown for this shit. It was kiddie fun at first but now it's just time wasting. I don't check 1FK blog anymore and I'm about to stop coming here. No reason to. I'll be damned if I take time to try to learn this fucking game and spend time helping the scene by traveling and whatnot. Nope. Just gonna be an online warrior.

 

I think thats its good to play to win and to take pride in a healthy activity. But when it gets to the point where a player isn't having fun anymore or or its interfering with their personal life....well then its time to reavaluate.

There is also nothing wrong with someone playing just for fun (don't always play to win) and being a casual player. Like the ol saying "Its not whether you win or lose,but rather how you play the game."



Elite players and casual players need to play each other sometimes though. Its keeps things fun and moving along in a fighting game community. Play clean and be respectful of others and there will be no problems.

FYI, i found this site by searching for vf forms. one link led to another, and i found this site. it was a wealth of knowledge, and camaraderie. And now.....its a goddamn cesspool of lowest common denominator. I side with social. i'd never recommend a friend or stranger come here. The SK community is a joke.

This place was a goldmine and wealth of information when i joined. Now its a place to consume racism, hatred and foul language. VF was slowly dying despite our best efforts. Now its dying quickly because of the efforts of intentional dickheads. Thanks for nothing. i'll likely not get the games b/c of you guys.....and if u do,,,i wont be coming here again, nor will i suggest anyone else come here.

This place still has a wealth of info (could still use a little more) and people looking to get better. Any BGs thread is always filled with stupid shit thats not worth posting about. Don't take one thread as this is the "community", lol.

Anyone who thinks this game is worse than Vanilla VF5 is just butt hurt they don't have Throw Clash to rely on a brain dead mechanic to get out of possible throw situation.

Love how the VF community has to walk on eggshells for people who aren't going to take the game seriously or even bother to learn the basics. SMB peace out dude, might as well stay off the internet.

 

Its OK smb, sometimes people disagree and argue and it looks bad, then things get better. The forum really struggled to cope with my absence. I was the single one factor keeping things in balance, now the yang is overflowing. get some ying right here folks:

The BG thread is a necessary evil. We need it to funnel all the crap into, or else it's going to bleed into other threads. It's like an outlet for the negative stuff that is bound to come with a one on one fighting game.
