XBL Bad Games

I just had a game with someone named: Jarrek Maldune.

This kid was obviously very new to the game. I'm not even sure he understood that to block required the pressing of G. At any rate, I beat him pretty badly (which is saying a lot because my skills are very far from the majority of people here)and after each round, on the mic, he was saying I was a masher, I'm a piece of shit and I'm a faggot. After 2nd match in player (well, almost 2 matches) he rage disconnected. Not trying to be annoyed by his mouth, I sent him a message: "you need practice you should hit up the dojo". He responded with a message: "you should go to the gym and lose 200 pounds".

I wasn't going to say anything about his choice of the word 'faggot' to describe someone who plays VF more than him, but after that comment (which, for the record, if I lost 200 lbs, I'd be in negative weight...) I filed a complaint on him.

I'm sure he's probably a Halo or CoD type guy and got the game on a whim, so he's really a fish out of water...but really, do you need to spout off so much when you know deep inside that you're not going to be the best at a game your first time playing? It's a little silly assumption to think that.

So yeah, if you guys want, you could go on and file complaints or rate him badly too. That would be funny. Maybe get him suspended from playing for a few days to get him to go interact with people face to face to see how that actually works.

I'd play you dude. I get tired of "Player has disconnected" when I'm in ranked...45 times in a row. It's boring.

 

Yes it is very frustrating!

If it wasn't for the connection strength concerns I would love a system that determined rank similarity and a range that force accepted challenges during ranked games.

 

Bad games to HARLEMKNIGHT116 or some number like that, only because the connection in his room is sooooooooo fucking atrocious. He's a Defender currently, so he clearly has some skill, but I'm not sure that title is based solely on merit. Either way, I'll be avoiding his room from now on.

I had my first puller today and it was odd considering we were at a round apiece. Maybe his connection just crapped out on him.

Is not that he is doing something else, he got a new ISP, and it has been wacky ever since. I know the dude personally. He just figured it out that is him thats lagging.

 

What a funny topic.

I like this guy. What is really great about him is that he always want to finish a hard fought match by taking a risky option. Like unblocable, counter moves, etc...

All the other guys I played and labeled "cheap" or "deconnection guys" are here... Ahahah.

 

Just avoid players who have yellow or worse disconnect ratings (smiley faces).

 

I think it's based on the numbers of match done so far...

like number of disconnect / number of matchs...
Maybe for a lot of players it will take really a long time to get a red smiley.

Though it still allows me to play them so I go for it. Because right after a deconnection you go back to search mode. What is important to me is to have a lot of different players to play with... Adding that beating a guy like this is really priceless. lol

That dude gave you some shit? A shame. I've had several games vs him and he's never talked shit to me. Was hoping to hit him up for Lei practice too.

 

His style is standard for online Lei-Fei. He has no fundamentals, no understanding of the system, can't break throws and doesn't do VF5FS bnb combos. Once you learn where to sidestep and punish the moves with big recovery it's not much trouble, in spite of how intimidating some of the sabakis and launchers seem from his stances.

Sometimes it seems like Lei-Fei attracts people susceptible Dunning-Kruger effect.
