Which soundtrack are you currently using in FS?

Jacky's theme is the only one I felt was worthwhile in Evolution.

 

VF2. Sega-rock nostalgia overload.

VF3 and VF5R.

Y'know, I thought 3 had some iffy ones, like Wolf, Aoi and Jeff's stages, but I've warmed up to them.

 

Even to this day I tend to struggle with Aoi's. But Sarah's always seem to make up for it for me!

 

I am switching between the FS soundtrack (just because it is new and fresh) and VF2's soundtrack.

 

VF5 Vanilla, though if you notice, Taka, Training stage and some others don't have the songs I remember (I'm not talking about taka) but like sometimes they use songs from old VFs and sometimes something I've never heard. I think one time I was playing in Akira's Statues stage but it was like a VF2 song. If you notice in the description when you change the settings it says "songs from ... and other VF games" I thought this only meant Taka and Jean and Lion and Aoi and Shun since they weren't in all the VFs but apparently not. I also don't like that I for some reason never get Kage's VF5V song when I play a match in his stage

 

Right now I'm using the VF4 one, I havent actually tried VF1,2 or 3 yet...

 

Aoi's theme is one of the best in VF3!
My favorite training stage in FS is Aoi stage with VF3 theme!
Sarahs is good too but I think her best ones overall are VF5 "Aurora" and VF4 Evo "Princess of Pandemonium". Subway is a good third though, Sarah always seem to get good music.

I currently have the settings to VF2 music but I've been thinking to switch back to VF3 for a few days but now. Something always seem to come up though so that I forget.

 

I like a couple of songs of each of the soundtracks (and miss the kage vf5 techno music btw)so I think I will do like I did with ssf4 and other games: just download all the songs I like from youtube and put them on an USB memory stick and play them from the ps3 xmb.
Does anyone know if there is some fps loss when playing music from the ps3? I did not notice any slowdowns while playing other games.

Might have something to do with the fact that Aoi's theme has such a different sound to the rest of stages on VF3 is probably what makes it stand out, but it just didn't work for me.

I forgot about Aurora on vanilla, find that to be a much better track than what FS has for Sarah at the moment...

 

VF5R's soundtrack is amazing. Loving Akira's statues stage music so yeah I use VF5R music. Though Sega should allow us which VF music should play like for example have VF5 Kage's music and VF5R akira's stage music. But you only are allowed to have soundtrack from only 1 VF game at time as far as I know.

 

Then you may like VF5R's alternate tracks which are available thru VF5 vanilla setting. I think there's only 2 or 3 of them...check out akira's theme its so catchy

None, I play my own music.

 

The only bad thing about using 1,2 and 3 soundtracks is that it plays Lei-Fei and Vanessa's (maybe even Brad and Goh's) VF4 music. How music in a VF series can be that bad will always be a mystery to me.

When the game first came out i kept it on default as I wanted to hear the songs firsthand from the countless vids of FS I watched prior release.

But thumbs up to the vf1 and 2 for some truly catchy tunes but my fave has to be vf3 as it was my first vf game.
