so i was just wondering if any of you who love VF know if there will be improvements from sega to VF5 on 360. i hope so i dont need online play but improved graphics and extra content or downloadable content would be sweet. even if they improve the gameplay id be stoked. we know both systems can run the game its up to sega if they want to make improvements over the PS3 version. since this will be the first time VF will be on a microsoft game system. i hope you all enjoy this game with people who love this game as much as you do.

so we all know both systems will can run VF5. so im just wondering what sega will add or improve since microsoft and 360 owners had to wait so long for the best fighting game franchise. yea thats right best fighting game franchise.

 

I think the fact Xbox users get VF is enough to ask for.

We need to wait and see, but I'm guessing there won't be any difference.

 

come on sebo are you that bitter. what do mean that the fact that 360 owners get the game should be enough. alot of microsoft owners xbox and 360 have been waiting for a VF game. what they dont deserve to play the game or something? besides we already know the 360 version will be version c. so it will already have improvements. i just want to know what other improvements the 360 will have even if the graphics are sligthly improved or if theres going to be extra content. id also like to know if there planning to make any gameplay changes to improve the balance but i think version c already does that. you guys do know alot of 360 games do have downloadable content, maybe we can expect VF5 to have downloadable content down the road for 360. so if anyone can tell me what improvements are being made to the 360 version and keep me updated on the improvements to the 360 version id be stoked. thanks to everyone for there feedback. i love VF5 and would love to know all the things there adding to the 360 version. oh by the way i dont have to listen to the background music anymore which im sooo sick of. im getting excited to buy this game again with all the little improvements ive been hearing about. thanks for all the VF5 feedback and info everyone i appreciate it.

And it's a tough question (from a community standppoint) to answer if it's a good thing if the PS3 and 360 games are based on different versions.

 

sega announce that if there was a version c that 360 owners would get that version. so you can almost confirm it. i almost guarantee 360 owners will get version c.

 

I haven't seen anything close to an announcement on the matter, only the speculation of gaming press.

But if you can find somewhere where Sega themselves say it, please correct me.

 

However, Kikizo can reveal that early code is running on 360 right now and that 360 owners will, apparently, benefit from the additions and refinements that will be made to the 'Version C' arcade revision, while the PS3 version will be based around the imminent Version B. This is, of course, subject to change.

see i told ya. i almost can guarantee 360 will get version c. do some research and youll find interviews where sega announces that if there is a version c it will be made for 360.

 

that interview was announced before version c was released. now that version c is confirmed it probably means 360 will get version c. its cool because i need an excuse to buy VF5 again and play it even more.

 

Personally, I would hope and expect that the 360 VF5 is version C. Even though I don't have a 360 at the moment. History suggests that it will be based on Version C as well.

But didn't VF4 version C and PS2 VF4 (which is based on version C) come out at pretty much the same time? I think I recall the pattern being similar as now, even. Not hearing the details about the new update until just a couple months before the release of VF4 on PS2.

Not saying this is the same as the old days, but I thought their releases were simultaneous. Then again, VF5 for 360 is only going outside of Japan, right? I wouldn't even be surprised if the 360 version was delayed a bit.
