8 low punches in a low couldn't keep MINAMI Kage from losing.

Abusing anything in the game will result in a loss in this

game cause your opponents will adapt quicker than you thought

    they would.

Harmless typing error, but in all honesty, low punch cheese is easily adaptable. I mean, who on this board hasn't been hit by a low punch/throw before, just to gain knowledge and not get hit by it (too much) again. Most people's evade attacks could even punish low punchers (wolf=no, akira=yes). Adapting to what you know you have to deal with is part of the game /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Even Evo computer does low punch a lot.

It is the by far most efficient move in the game.

Like anything else, it is good when it is used effectively. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I remember I made a thread similar to this a while back. Someone said that each character has this certain move tailored to destroy a LP if planned precisely like Sarah's u+K, Jeffry's b+K,P. Can someone please tell me what's Aoi's anti leg-groper other than her low counter?

[2_][3][P] beats low punches (and elbows) in open stance. [6][K]+[G], [P] beats low punch if the [K]+[G] is blocked. You can also backdash, then [3][K] to get a stagger. Backdash -> [2][K]+[G] works great too. Backdash -> [4][K]+[G] also beats low punch, but it's risky. The good thing about it is you get an automatic kuzure down whenever it hits (it also sabaki's sidekicks) and a free [8][P] pounce. Finally, there's always the backdash -> low throw technique. You have a short time to see if their low punch misses, then input the low throw as they recover ([2][P]+[K]+[G] is the best). The timing is tricky because if you perform a full backdash, you'll be too far away to throw them. Too early, and their low punch will interrupt your throw. You must input the command during the backdash. This causes the low throw to come out after taking a half-step backwards. If you time this right, their low punch will whiff, leaving them in a crouched state which makes the low throw possible.

Darn, Aoi's [2_],[3]+[P] & [2]+[K]+[G] are so abusive it's not funny. Thanks for the info.

Also, I remember in the tactics are in the practice mode says (I think) that [4],[3]+[P]+[K] seems to work against [2]+[P] but somehow it umm... what do you think about this move?

If you have the advantage (after you hit with something like [P], [2][P]or [6][P]+[K]), then [4][3][P]+[K] will interrupt their next move. It's uncounterable and crumples on counter-hit (just like Akira's SDE except slower). Afterwards, you can combo with [6][K][K].

i dont use this move much but [3][P]+[K] works pretty well against Lion for me(with Aoi) i think it would also stop a low punch.

    Ahh, I see thanks.

How about Brad? I find him really sad 'cuz everything he does can be stopped by a st00pid [2]+[P]. Deos he have something that's immune to [2]+[P] like Aoi's [2_],[3]+[P]?
