WCG West/East Brackets

WTH, Plague isn't listed on this bracket:

Well, I think Plague can to fix this issue before the matches begin. If not, we still can put him into that empty space. It's not a big deal actually.

Btw, can someone explain what does that schedule mean?
I don't understand why there is another "Round1" "Round2" below.

Also, the extra Round 1 and Round 2 are the loser's brackets.

 

But we only need one champ right? why do we need to care about the loser's match??

 

Because the "Loser" can still come back and win it all. That's the beauty of Double Elimination.

EDIT: Dennis, you can't change your character at all if you happen to lose the first match. You have to stick with the character until the match is over.

Example, you start with Akira vs Me - You have to play Akira even if you lose the first game.

For the match against Plague/KOD, you can change to whatever, but you still have to play the character you chose first.

This isn't clearly posted in the rules, but that's how it's been last year.

Do you mean I need to stick with the character I choose first to the same opponent? For example, if I use Akira VS you on our first match, I can't change if I lose to you?? Which means no matter how many times we meet, I have to use Akira??

For the match against Plague, I'm allowed to use wolf but I still need to stick with wolf even I play with you in the middle??

I'm confused about it and please make it clear if you can.
Btw, how many matches I need to play? For each one total is 3??

I'll check VFDC in the morning and probably be online around 11 to 1130, and we can check the connection first because sometimes I can't join the private player match....(I don't know why....)

 

Dennis, you can pick any character for your 1st match, but you have to stick with that character until said match is over.

Here's another example:

Vs me, you use Akira - You must stay as Akira for the 2 to 3 matches.

Vs Plague, you switch to Pai - You must use Pai for this match.

Vs Me again, you change to Jeffry - You must use Jeffry for this match.

Vs Plague again, you decide on Akira - You must use Akira for this match.

I'll assume all matches should be at least 2 out of 3. We want a clear cut winner here =)

 

OK. It's 7:50 am on Sunday and I'm going outside to do some yard work before it gets hot. I see that the brackets are all in working order. Last I heard we're starting at noon today. I'm OK with that.

I read something a few days ago about KoD being able to make it? What is the deal with that?

I think I understand what you said, but how many matches we need to play during our first meet? I mean if one macth = win 3 rounds, how many games we have to play and decide who is the winner??

Dennis, you have until maybe September or October to sort the name thing out, but in the meantime I'd suggest you look into it.

Ggs to Plague in Player matches! I gotta play online more because I'm not getting much offline practice against a variety of characters. In the meantime, I really need to make some changes to my gameplan.

Do you mean when all the online tournaments are done, then WCG will manage the stuff like this?

You should be online a little bit earlier and warm up yourself.
Plague and I had some great games before the final started 15 minutes ago and that was really helpful for the fellowing matches I believe.

Serious question:

To those who are involved: Has this been as much as a nightmare as it sounds like reading it? Would you say the fun factor/satisfaction factor of the tournament has been worth it?

It seems like with all the reporting and dubious support from the tournament "organizers" this may have been more of a headache than anything else.

Just wondering what you guys' respective experience and overall opinion of this has been?
