WCG West/East Brackets

Just be online at the proper time make sure to tell WCG too. Then wait for 20-30 minutes if you don't get contacted i would post the win.

 

If you can't contact them after the scheduled time report a win. Take pictures of the screen to prove you waited and that they were offline.

It says here that a match has to be reported by 11:30pm on the day of the match, or *both* players may be double forfeited.

Plague, I'd suggest you turn that support ticket in from yesterday's match ASAP or the opponent might be given the bye instead of you.

To everyone else reading this thread but are playing at a later date: Read the competition guide above, please.

EDIT: For sunday's matches, it's a 4 man Double Elimination Bracket so it would look something like this.

Match 1: Plague Vs Ray (Loser plays match 3)
Match 2: Someguy vs Dennis (Loser plays match 3)
Match 3: Ray vs Someguy (Someguy eliminated, Ray plays match 5)
Match 4: Plague vs Dennis (Loser plays Ray in Match 5)
Match 5: Plague Vs Ray (Plague eliminated. Ray plays Matches 6 and/or 7)
Match 6 and/or 7 (Ray vs Dennis. Dennis needs 1 match to win. Ray needs 2 matches to win)

So, for Sunday's game there will be anywhere between from 4 to 7 match reports...

 

I opened a support ticket asking to allow last night's fight to go on tonight. Hopefully they'll go for it. My opponent is fine with the idea.

The guys in the bracket below mine aren't updated - no idea if someone will be "waiting" for me tonight. I can't contact either of them, so - I guess I'll see what happens.

 

My guy didn't show up and I can't report the result coz "Prerequisite have not been completed".

To be honest, I'm confused about the double eliminate.
Characters switch allow??

 

WCG rules say you cant change character after the "match has started", but who knows what a match means. If its just 1 game of first to 3 rounds, then, well, of course you cant change characters in between rounds, cause the game wont allow it.

As for the double elimination schedule, double elimination just means you are still in the tourney until you lose twice. But, it doesn't really matter unless ray is willing to play the matches early and / or plague manages to convince wcg to accept his late results.

I notice that WCG doesn't mention "character change" after the match, and that's why I need to ask first.

Finally I change my personal schedule. YES!! I am able to represent final 4 on Sunday noon!!!

Right now I think only KoD can't make it on Sunday, but I'm willing to play earlier either tomorrow or Sat.(There is no official schedule and KoD may leave on Sunday)

I'm totally okay if you guys want to play earlier. I know it sounds like a little bit nonsense coz all players should fellow the WCG rules. But, I believe all of four us belong to VFDC and I don't think there is any problem to manage the matches between us.

All I want to say is we should give KoD a fair chance to represent himself, especially now I fix my problem already. Of course we can record our matches and upload too!!! I'm totally fine no matter when the matches is.

OK - I got to play and win my match that was supposed to be last night. Now the person I'm supposed to fight tonight has not reported THEIR win from last night (if they even played).

As soon as one of them reports, I can contact them and play. In the mean time, my support ticket reflects this situation. I'm gonna hang out another 20 minutes or so and then eat food for a bit.

A-ha! I see RayBlade won his match. Very good. Good luck to Dennis0201 and KoD (and maybe me) in tonight's battles.

Thanks for the support dennis, I appreciate your positive attitude. Dont worry about me, I'm just glad you and plague got your issues worked out so that there will actually be a competition on sunday. Play your strongest!

P.S. It looks like Wcg added an opponent to my matches AFTER the scheduled match time. I checked my control panel multiple times last night both before and after the scheduled time, nothing. This morning there's a match with a date of yesterday . . .

That happened about 11PM last night and I message Plague on XBL. I couldn't reach you either on VFDC or XBL, sorry~
I assume WCG add opponent automatically if both previous players never report the result, and they pick the winner always from "lower bracket". I don't know exactly what they did last year but I think everyone should notice this point this year.
