Here's an idea, play all your matches until tomorrow, then let me or Plague play on Sunday. I'm sure Plague would be down for this.

 

I'm sure plague would be down for giving dennis a fair chance to demonstrate that he's the better player, even if he's not better at reading WCG schedules.

That is assuming plague and ray end up in sunday's finals, which remains to be seen what with wcg adding people to the brackets less than an hour before matches >:| I sure hope plague reports his win tonight if his opponent noshows.

 

Based on the tournament schedule, I believe four of us can be listed in finals if there is no accident. But I can't be online on Sunday noon.

KoD and I just discuss if we can make our matches earlier. I'm available tomorrow and going to drive to SF on Friday. Of course if you guys can postpone the matches on Sunday night, I might be able to play, but I still can't guarantee that...

I'm not bothered at all, especially cause I cant make it on sunday. Heck I offered shidosha the win just cause I didnt want to stay up late on the first night, and since then all I've faced is no-shows or people who dont know how to play.

 

So guys, how about we play tomorrow night after the regular schedule?? Right now I　don't have the information who is gonna be my next opponent coz they haven't reported the result. I'll keep updating and I believe my match tomorrow can be done before 9:00PM. Is the time okay for all you guys?? I don't know how to organize the final games and I'm okay no matter which brackets you put me in.

Awesome, looks like plague got screwed out of his spot, so if ray wins tonight he'll be the only one in the finals. Unless wcg adds ringers at the last minute. Good job wcg.

Shit - I was online at 7:00 pm and the brackets were empty before that. I'm guessing that the bracket populated when I wasn't looking (e.g. eating dinner). Regardless, I JUST XBL messaged my guy to see if he'll fight TODAY at 7:00 pm. If I had read this thread first, I probably would've just reported a win. Dang. I'd rather fight for a spot, anyway.

 

Last year they didn't change brackets and add opponents 30 minutes before matches were supposed to start. Plague got straight screwed by WCG.

I'm not complaining for myself, I'm going to stay out of it even if plague and ray and dennis manage to work something out, my trip scheduling is my problem. But it should be plague, ray, and dennis in the finals for this week.

Its funny that you bring up plague's tournaments - his shit was run more professionally than WCG, and he doesnt have money flying out of his asshole like they do. Seriously, these guys are straight incompetent, and they don't give a fuck about "the community". Only reason VF is in is because its an xbox-exclusive fighting game, end of story.

I think there is something wrong with WCG coz I do notice they add opponent without announcement. And I strongly suggest the fellowing people who register this year should notice that.

I still don't know whom I am going to play with tonight, and that's why I dislike the function they use. If my opponent doesn't show up later, then I can go to final four~

Right now I'm working on my personal schedule. However, if you guys can accept to play tonight instead of Sunday, I will appreciate that!! If not, that's okay, and I will do my best to fit Sunday schedule.

Yeah, cause that's got everything to do with love for the VF community, and nothing to do with pimping samsung and their TV show. Don't get me wrong, some of those guys seem to have their heart in the right place, but can you seriously tell me with a straight face that you think the events are professional and well organized?

 

I'm wondering if I can't contact my opponents, what's goona happen?

One of the player's tag couldn't be found and the other one's has no record to show he has been online before.

Should I just ignore that and waiting until 7PM??
