WCG West/East Brackets

Hahaha they will be the closest WCG matches ever. I'm starting to get tired of you winning by one hit!

 

I hope wcg has an offline qualifier like they did last year. online vf really fucking blows

 

Amen to that. I wonder how may ppl would be able to make it out though compared to the peeps online.

 

they are doing it in NY and it gives east coast peeps a chance to qualify offline. I think west coast peeeps should at least have the same opportunity.

 

WCG is having an invitational tournament tomorrow in NYC.

I don't know the full roster but Adam, Dennis, Rodney, Eddel and I will be playing.

The top two will get invited to the USA National.

 

Like I said, its great for players on the east coast but sucks for us here on the west coast.

I *think* Samsung heavily sponsors the WCG, and only has one Samsung Experience location in the country (which happens to be in NYC).

It wouldn't surprise me if Samsung *is* WCG.

Maybe Sony should promote a similar tourney and have National events while promoting their products at the Metreon on San Francisco(?).

I'm afraid the games would also have to be PS3 based, though.

Xzy and Sistin (if you are on VFDC), my opponent has requested to delay the match between him and I for a couple of hours, I'm waiting to hear back from him as to what time. Just giving you a heads up so it doesn't screw up your days. Once I know the time I will post it, I will also contact WCG so they are aware.

It's such a predicament. Here we are blessed with a real VF tournament in the USA, but it's primarily online. It's kinda like this: "Yeah - she gives a great blowjob except that you keep getting nicked by her teeth."

ARGH!

 

Sistin and Xyz my match tomorrow afternoon with Greggory is tentatively set at 6pm PDT. He has not responded back and said he may need a few hours to push the game back so I think 3 is fair enough. Good luck tomorrow.

Likewise, I've been spending to much time on Street Fighter IV lately. I need to start switching it up each day.

 

Don't be upset about lack of notice for the NYC invitational. As the name implies, it was invite only based primarily on the 2008 US Finals.
