I finally got a response after submitting 2 support tickets within 10 minutes of each other. Needless to say my opponent quit through the 2nd set. Redonkulous

 

I played my match, and lost because I couldn't block low or properly interrupt strings.

I refuse to play online enough to adjust to the latency. I just don't care enough. lol

 

Plague, send me an email to the one you did this morning when you'll be available to play tonight for our match. If you want to reschedule till tomorrow let me know as that would be fine too.

Once again, I learned my lesson. Im never gonna use a character thats not my main in a tournament ever again.

Where are you plague? I tried calling but no one picked up. I hate having to do a d!ck move and reporting this game as a forfeit, but you haven't gotten back to me from the original message you sent me that you were going to let me know what time you wanted to play around 9.

I have work early in the AM, so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt right now. Hopefully you get on in the next 30mins.

 

I don't know much, haven't really been following WCG. But didn't plague place as a runner-up in the first qualifier?

 

Bummer that my phone didn't ring. I had it on. I show no missed calls. I'm surprised that it didn't go to voice mail.

I'm also a little surprised that you didn't wait to take the win based on our email exchange...

I figured "just send me an email" meant to send one when I got home tonight. Regardless, I just got home now (11:10 pm) and the rules say we were to fight at 7:00pm.

I'm not going to make this a public 'issue' because I don't think it needs to be one.

I did call, no I did not leave a voicemail, so you can believe what you want there.

You told me you would send me an email around 9, which is what I was expecting when I said send me an email around that time (sorry for the confusion).

Around that time is when I called and left an updated public forum response.

The match was scheduled to be played at 7PDT and you didn't get home till 11:10pm, I actually tried to accomodate your schedule since I have to be at work at 6am. Please don't make this out to be my fault. I'm sorry it came to this, I honestly don't know what more you want me to say?

 

I don't see that I've written that bolded statement anywhere. I wrote that I could fight between 10:00 pm and Midnight. I invited you to call me at 9:00pm so I could tell you when I'd be home. I did not accuse you of failing to call. I stated I saw no record of your call. Cell service is not 100% reliable.

It's within the rules that you can take the win. I wasn't there at 7:00 pm. You could've denied my PM'd and e-mailed request to delay the match. That would've been OK, too. I would not have thought it to be a dick move.

I was a little put off because your private response to my private request indicated you agreed to fight between 10:00 and Midnight...

...and then you went public by posting messages to me in this thread (while I was away) making it look like I abandoned our fight...

And then I get home to email you, check the board, and think "WTF is this guy going on about?" So I post...

For me, that's really all I wanted to say. No hard feelings, either. I don't want to change the outcome of last night. Please keep the win. I will not be home Sunday at Noon. If I were to qualify for those finals, I would either have to ask other players for a delay or forfeit at that time.

Could someone please explain what's going on between AyuFanb0y and Cynoc? Their match is reported as a tie, and it's preventing anyone in out end of the bracket from progressing.

Edit: Ok, a WCG admin straightened out the brackets. According to him, it was a database problem that caused the match to be recorded as a tie. It looks like me and AyuFanb0y are going to have to fight today sometime before 7PM Pacific to determine who has to fight Rayblade.
