WCG West/East Brackets

I hear you bro! I hope i can make it to Cali to be able to see you guys this year. I just sent Paul Brewer an email, so let's see what he says regarding all of this.

I have sent them E-mails 3times,but I havent received any E-mail back. therefore, I assumed that it would not be a problem as long as I dont get qualified. they will eventually tell me if I can play or not, but regarding to just online tournament, I dont know if it is a big problem.

Yosuke, glad to hear this. I'm sure eventually you will get some sort of a reply. I know you don't like to get involved in these ridiculous discussions, but I think if you would have posted this piece of information sooner things wouldn't have blown up like this. If you don't know how to get the point across then feel free to ask me, Gerald, etc who would be more than happy to speak on your behalf.

Like I said no one has anything against you, but at the same time no one wants to be screwed or denied a fair chance... Meaning if you were not suppose to enter and let's say you beat me in the quarter finals and it's the last chance to qualify I would be out of the tournament correct? Now you get disqualified cause your not suppose to enter then of course second place will get your spot to represent, but who is to say that if you were not entered maybe I would have won the whole bracket?

I hope what I am trying to say is not confusing, but I really think that's why people are upset. No one cares if you enter, but if your not suppose to be there it is in a sense screwing someone over.

Any way I hope they respond back soon so we can put an end to this mess. Good luck!

 

I knew he sent the WCG a question because I wrote up the question for him 2 weeks ago. I just never heard a response.

 

well, I have an E-mail of one person who is a part of WCG. when I went to the event in NYC, I asked his e-mail. I am asking him about it. he will let me know how/ what to do with it. Also, Like dennis, I really don't need to go to China either. I would be studying in Novenber, and I don't know if I can make it because this trip is completely different form any visits around the US. I highly doubt that I have enough time to go there. is that good for you?

I don't think I should stop playing this online tournament myself. they will eventually tell me wheather I can be qualified or not when I get thte first place.

hmm...To be honest, you guys are too worried about me/ my thing. you dont have to be too worried about it. sooner or later we will get to know about it. I would say you should concentrate on your matches. WCG will judge it. Besides, I would like to say they should have checked if players should be in the bracket or not before running.

for me, its more confusing that some players enter both west/east bracket.

by the way, does anyone knows when the final tournament starts? I assume that Dennis/adam ( and most of you guys) know about it. the last tournament held in west(online) is the same as this one, right?

Good games to Johoseph. Sorry I'm so rusty, but I can't get motivated to play VF5 with the competitive community so scattered.

I would like to head to WCG US Finals again, but I just can't get into VF5. I have no drive to play since the only competition is online, and I can play Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur IV offline anytime I want, against good comp.

I think that's getting to be the reason for most. My reason is now that SF IV is out most players are transitioning over, I being one of them. I'll continue to try the rest of the year, but this is probably it. I'll be traveling most likely to Evo2k this year to test out my SF IV capabilities and funny enough my SSBB quality lol.

 

Dennis. I mean Dennis0201. you are going to cancel the other online tournament, right? How are you going to cope with it? Do I need to open a support ticket for this?

Actually you don't need to anything, just like you forfeit the fellowing online tournaments, that's simple.
I registered 3 of the West and 1 East because of my bad choosing the wrong period. However, WCG showed up that I was attending to register each of the 8 online tournaments.....

But I still wrote a message to my first bracket opponent to indicate that I forfeit the match.
