Just found out that i'll be staying at the Deutz Hostel. Anyone else staying at this hostel?

Scheisse, man. Just heard rumours that both hostels were completely sold out! Ran by their website to have a look, and it seems to be absolutely right! Did you get any more info on the room you'll be at?

Some more unsettling news came by too. I HAVE to attend this lesson which will be ALL day on the Friday (7th), meaning I would have to come late at night on that day... As for the projector, I WILL bring it if preferable, but can't make it until the Friday...Piece of shit.

Anyhow, let me know asap of the hostel situation. Considering the size of the event, I might have to be quick in finding a room at some expensive hotel nearby instead.

Aside from the slightly crappy news, can't wait to hook up with you lot again! Due to my study circumstances, I haven't played VF since July, but would still enjoy getting my ass kicked in by everyone.

No, it's because of very poor management of the WCG. There are many negative managements reports during the qualifiers on this forum way earlier.

 

agreed a lot of this is WCG's fault.

My question is are the other WCG run tournaments being as poorly run as VF5's is? Who the hell is in charge of our tournament that it's being botched up so badly. I feel like WCG will ultimately blame the community for the failure as the person botching it up is going to probably put the blame on us.

 

Team USA will be staying in Player’s Village #1 (Deutz Hostel) on November 5th. It sucks that everything is sold out man!

I'll look into hotels later tonight when she's back. Found some hotels which aren't really that far away from your hostel. It's very close to the main train station. I'll be discussing with her tonight checking our budgets. Will email you back tomorrow.

 

The chances are, if possible, that I'll come in on the 5th, then leave back for Mannheim on the evening on Thursday and be back again at late evening time on Friday. To me this might be the best, considering I'll also get to stay up at night watching us take on the Broncos. Anyhow, await the email tomorrow.

I highly doubt though we'll bump into any Asterix and Obelix looking characters better than we saw at the petrol station over in Finland some years ago, lol. Netrom and Raider's mum moved back to Finland now. They're both doing excellently at this video editing college they are at at the moment, scoring only top grades. Both got a new set of girlfriends too, lol. Bunch of busy guys they've got, haha.

 

Just talked to NeoTower. Unfortunately, Microsoft didn't come forth as a sponsor at the Japanese WCG, so apparently there was never a qualifier for the game (Halo). Obviously he lost in the VF qualifiers, so I guess no Germany for him.

Hello everyone, whats up?

After barely squeesing past Jeneric (With Xsi and Skatanmilla finishing third and fourth resp.) in the Swedish qualifiers, I will be the Swedish representative to compete in group A.

I have yet to be informed about my flight schedule, or anything else WCG-related, but I hope it'll work out and we'll all see each other in Köln!

Manji: I'm sorry to hear about your gallsten. I hope you are recovering well, and that we maybe both get to the main stage so to have a rematch of the last kitty bang tournament!

Gutti: I'm glad that coincidence now allows us to meet again. I bet you are surprised to see me winning a Swedish qualifier!
