Myke, I would like to remove my name for Vanessa before any decisions are made, but I for personal reasons I would have to withdraw at this moment.

I still want to try being the jacky character specialist if at all possible. Is this even still going on?

Yeah. Pretty sure we just have to wait it out since he has to decide for each character + speaking with the mods, etc.

Do I have any new powers yet or is there going to be some kinda mass PM to the specialists later on?

I actually thought about that. I looked back at the years spent posting on this sight (I've been here 8 years myself) and all the faqs written by all the people over multiple VF releases. I thought about all knowledge of how to play, not just VF, but 3-D fighters in general that I and others picked up from this sight. Because sites like this support the deep design of the game VF is more like a sport than a simple video game.

And I thought "what it something happens to Myke?" Is it all just gone. I know it's a video game which means it's just a hobby at most so I don't want to overstate the seriousness of it. But I don't want to understate the time invested either. It is a fact there is a lot of technical stuff on here. It is also a fact that it took a lot of hours to record, edit, and format that info into a form that can be easily absorbed. That is true whether a person contributes in writing or by making video. It would be a shame to lose it all at once.

Knock on wood (something us Americans say and do to prevent jinxing someone) I don't have any reason to think is anything is about to happen to Myke, nor do I wish it. Still, none of knows what'll happen tomorrow. Plus, I think this thread is, more than anything else, about this whole thing becoming too much for one man. Maybe that's what he was thinking by that post. A contingency plan my be in order.

Forgive me for injecting adult thought into what is supposed to be a fun forum, about a video game no less. I guess my years are starting to show.
