Yea, its only the name/character/comment... plays and looks nothing like the real world counterpart. Its like everyone threw their name into a hat and sega used it for quest mode.

 

If they used my name it might be a copyright infringement. My Goh is named RikitikiTB (from "ricky -ticky-tabi") Because i make him pounce on you like a MOngoose!

I'm almost 100% complete on one of the arcades. When I finish, I'll make a list of all players in that arcade. Its Sega Route 101, and theres 69 players.

 

Why does it seem like they make you fight three fighters at a time repeatedly in some arcades? Is it because your rank is lower than the arcades players? I was playing Vf5 yesterday and this lion characterNamed Web something or Whetton kept challenging me. It was a pain in the ass, because 9th Dan Lions are a nightmare. I like quest mode the way it WAS, you know, when you could SAVE replays???? At least this way you can skip the lame 10 kyu players. To me though TENTH KYU players should at least be as difficult as your ARCADE mode counterparts, not brain dead. Since this game installs about 200 megabyters or 2 gig onto your PS3 HDD, it may be possible for SEGA to write an UPDATE to it. LORD KNOWS Quest mode needs one. <cough>save replays<cough>

 

I think the rematch thing is kinda cool, because it mimics real arcade players who want a rematch. It's rather satisfying when I beat them over, and over, and over, and watch them turtle more and more but to no avail.

There are plenty of people in NYC that play GoDokunoDan. I'm sure you'll find more fulfilling matches with people who've played the game for a long time than in matches where you whip the CPU.
