According to that article, Srider is 8th Kyu. I guess its exactly as feared, the ranks are totally random. Too bad.

Maybe Sega will hold some tourneys in America for the 360 version of VF5. Then players can be represented accurately.

Still though, I was curious as to if the registration on the site would even make it into the game. Apparently, it has!

Oh I certainly will. Too bad I missed the entry cutoff date. I would like to see my name in a game, even if my character/skill level is not accurately represented.

Well it seems our fears about western players not being higher than 10th dan are... FALSE!

I fought Myke (kage, vanquisher i think) and MarkManSTD (lion, Veteran i think), and I think I saw ice-9 in one of the tournaments.

This whole "be in the game thing" is kinda fun. I missed the deadline, but my friend JunoSynth didn't and I've played against him on VF5 a few times. Its actually just really cool to see someone that you actually know pop up in the game... then proceed to whoop their ass like you never could in real life /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
