Replace the JP players (stats, item customisations, etc...) from VF.net with names that we submitted?? That would be disgraceful for the JP players.
Maybe they should issue radomly (to the names that we submitted) the stats

Well, remember what happened with evo? Most of the Japanese player's names got butchered anyways. Most were not even remotely close to their original Japanese names. So I think this time it will just be completely changed for the US players, but I will find out for sure hopefully.

Well, theoretically, tons. They're not stating any limits... The page just sets the cookie once you do it, but if you clean the cookies in your browser, you can do it again.

 

Certainly ghosts or uploadable stats would be better. Hopefully Sega has that in the works.
This is just to get your name on the physical disc, I guess.

 

It would be great if, for the ghosts, we can put messages too. Hopefully, more than 13 characters though...

 

Ghosts are not gonna happen, as that would require actual effort on Sega's part. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I may only be playing the Japanese version of the game. Hopefully the freedom of having the games without region coding will extend to transferring data between them. Either that, or i can convince everyone i know to purchase the japanese one as well~

The way I said it was a little backwards... what I mean is that I hope I can transfer data from the US to the JP VF5, and vice-versa, even though they're from different regions... especially if the game uses internet support and all that jazz.
