nah. I think it's, unfortunately, normal. Like any free and public place (virtual or otherwise) it has a nice cross-section of what the world has to offer: The quiet, the boors, the obnoxious, the fun-loving, the uptight, the regulars.....blah blah blah. VFDC is any bar or restaurant I've ever been in.

It's a place to get what you came for, whatever that is. And people do. The only time it appears "fucked up" is when anyone attempts to make it their place, subscribing to their rules: "this place would be awesome if everyone toed the (my) line".

...I agree... and VDFC would be rubbish if noone argued about technical stuff..... people spelling out their opinions condescendingly is actually very useful if you wade through all the crap people insist on posting...it doesn't bother me...it's just a side effect....

As to the whole akira thing. He is The oscar de la hoya of VF. ITs never going to change. Hes the ryu character. The karate guy with the white gi. He will be the best. But unlike other games, sega makes it so everyone is almost as good as him. Trust me, when played in the right hands, every character will make you say "Man (character name) is so unfair. They need to change him." so quit you bitching and play the game.
