A gambling machine? That's kind of funny. I never saw the point of being depended on Sega to release something. They've shown their hand for years on that subject. Whether they do or not, that's on them. I would just enjoy what you have.

 

I've seen many people lost their minds like VF6 cancelled/ won't happen blabla. Like who care seriously, Soul Calibur and Tekken had their pachinko it didn't prevents Bamco to announce a release brand new games T7 and SC6, also Sega opened recently a motion capture studio, so.

 

First vending machines, now the Battle Genesis pachinko. We are getting closer...

 

They need the extra money. And those game machines, will help them generate revenue fast, so they could fund their game projects. Then, the good games will come afterwards. It's even possible, they might be planning on working, on a new game console too.

 

I wonder if the new slot Machine will include some new lore like the older pachinko machines, the VF4 and the old VF5 one.. Personally i don't like the beast Sarah thing, i wonder if it's actually canon.

 

At this point, I'd really like VF characters to make a come back in 'Dead Or Alive 6'.

Okay. I know that Sarah was kidnapped by J6. But I wonder if the glowing red eyes and dark energy aura are sorta canon. Or was that just an effect, done for entertainment, to portray that she has been turned, to the bad side of the force?
Strangely in the vid, when I saw the red eyes and energy aura, I thought she was going to fire a fireball, or shoot a laser beam at Jacky, or turn into a monster and attack him.

 

I hope they don't make that Beast Sarah canon. We already have to deal with the evil corporation trope with J6. We don't need VF to fall into the Evil and Devil category like in other franchises.

 

Exactly. And that whole devil persona thing, has gotten way too cheesy.

 

Why Sega just won't release VF5FS on current gen consoles. I mean if they plan to release it the day they announce VF6 3 months before there is no point most people (including me) will save their money for VF6. If they plan to release VF5 better be now while there's nothing VF related at all on modern consoles.

 

Yes it's what makes most sense. If they re-release a VF collection or VF5FS on current platforms it would take the attention and press of a potential VF6 announcement. SEGA cannot take risks at this point.

The secret of a successful VF6 game lays not only on the game itself but the image they'll need to project to the general audience. SEGA needs to study the market in order to launch a successful attack in all fronts. Social media, influencers, and most importantly the true fans that know the mechanics and how the game plays is the key.

 

I rather have a Virtua Fighter collection too on modern consoles. Preferably, I would like to see what the VF3 online competition look like. The others after, I like least.

 

Will VF6 have this dumbed down syndrome that other franchises have in their gameplay?

I watched that vid a few hours ago.

Despite max being a huge SF third strike fan, he should know that third strike, is a nerfed version of SF 3 Double Impact. If anyone has played, Sean, Ibuki, Necro and a few other chracters, you'll know what I mean.

I'll be honest, I'm literally sick and tired of nerfs, move nerfing, moves being removed etc.

Even in VF 5 Final Showdown, alot of Goh's throws, and some of his moves were removed.
The same with a few other chracters as well.
As for soulcalibur..................I'm not even going to waste my time.
Gamers who are fans of soulcalibur 1 on the dreamcast, have complained long enough, about the nerfing, and moves being removed crap that namco did, with the SC games that came after that, and still do.

 

Lets hope not. Because if VF6 were real and became popular at Evo etc, the sad thing is, certain pro's and noobs and media, might ask sega for a nerf patch for character A, or character B immediately.

 

Yeah, that would be nice.

Apparently those moves were removed from FS just to streamline the character movesets and make each character's playstyle more obvious, it's not worse or better just different.
But i don't like that idea :V
