Def Jam Vendetta! Still love that game and am always happy to go a round or two in it with anyone. Red man and Method Man FTW!

 

The Def Jam games were too dope. Would've been great to see them continue into this Generation. Hell, there are few-to-none of those style of "wrestling" games. I'll admit, I haven't touched any of the current WWE and UFC games.

In VF6 I'd like an overhaul of the sidestep system. No more sidestepping moves when you're trapped in a corner... I'd also like for Sega to fix the hitboxes. It gets on my nerves when my Jean is being kept at a distance by a dwarf like Shun or be grabbed from several feet away by Lei Fei.

 

If they nerf the sidestep system we'll just be playing tekken. your just going to have to adapt. However the hit boxes need to be fixed. No FG has ever had a perfect HB. ldk why. maybe its not possible.

 

I didn't ask for side step to be nerfed, I asked for an overhaul. I would prefer the sidestep to work like Soul Calibur's.

Lol namco cant even make one simple command for sidesteping. Just put it as 2 and 8 and make moves linear, half circular and circular. Thats all they need to do. Whats so hard about that?

 

Even when circs do CH and tons of moves have different properties near wall?

 

Isn't the corner supposed to be a dangerous place that you never want to find yourself in? Isn't a sidestep supposed to move you out of the way rather than RIGHT THROUGH the attacks you're evading? It seems like more of a shortcut to allow sidestep to move through attacks that aren't full or half circles.

what about a new character? his/her fighting style (in my opinion) should be street fighting since it doesn't cross over with many fighting styles in VF( maybe goh's but thats only because he fights rough) just don't add to many chars tho. we need the balancing to be tight and its easier with a small roster.

 

Krav Maga would be a good martial art for street fighting.

Just heard about it from various martial arts stuff. Other cool martial arts to see in VF would be Sambo and Tai Chi. I've always thought Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would be cool as well, but Vanessa's martial art of Vale Tudo is kind of in that area already.

I definitely think that the first problem for a person who begins in virtua is the esthetic part of the game, the characters seem too old, I know that the community won't like it if they change everything, but just see this like an official custom, and just keep the old one in backup! I mean come on! Akira haven't changed a bit since the first VF!!! And to continue on the customization part, VF is such a pain in the ass when it comes to customs! Just look at the way you can custom characters in Soul Calibur 5!!! If feel so angry some times when I have aproximativly only one choice for my characters custom! They sure have to be more innovative in terms of flexibility and choices! And come on let the opponent who don't have the custom pack see my own customs for god sake!!!!
I mean what's the point to do advertising if the game isn't even charming!

Second thing, put a rematch option at the end of the room and ranked matchs! This is kind of a pain in the ass too... but more vicious! Look at KOF 13 the options are perfect both players have the choice, there's are an hierarchy in the answers so if one of the players wants to quit or change character, his answer will be more important than the one who wants to rematch (sorry to rite that much but this little thing has been stressing me since I've begin!). It sounds difficult but it's actually very logic!

Put an atomatic refresh for the ranking match room or at least leave the little sound that we hear every 2 second when we're waiting for challengers!

I love Jean but since I play him, I've noticed that he is really easy to take in hand (maybe too much), so just a little complexity adding would be nice!

I agree with Zekiel on the "adding new features like they did in FS" thing, it could be nice (but they must be carefull not to add too much difficulties to the gameplay)!

And last!!!!!

It would be great to add a systema fighter to the cast, this is quit an intriguing martial art it'd be funny to dig it ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgky6-RsPlw )! Something between Aoi and Goh! I see a big guy doing it, almost same curpulence as Jean, maybe a little beefier and a little shorter, but same class, looking bad as hell like some UK manchester guy something like that? And maybe mixed up? (which I am ｡◕‿◕｡) in excuse to the Jeffry "MCWILD" thing haha, just kidding (not kidding). I'll try to find some nice pics! You'll see what I'm thinking about!
