You got my point the wrong way.

I don't know if you cared about the silly Tekken story they keep.telling in their games or their cheesy endings, but I don't and I would rather see those resources spent somewhere else. Which brings me to the other point, I don't think people like SF for it's story..I don't think people like MK solely for it's story because that will be insane. People don't like Sub Zero because his real name is Kuai Liang and he is the 2nd Sub Zero and the current headmaster of Lin Kuei. They like him for his design, special moves and fatalities.
I don't know why you would think throwing a story mode on Virtua Fighter will bring in Tekken and other games' fans. VF plays different and feels different. AM2 should never change its focus and risk losing their long time fans because I can sense that no matter how main stream they aim, Tekken , SF and MK fans will not be interested.

Virtua Fighter should focus on it's own great points to widen their fanbase and I assure you, when it comes to gameplay, it's light years ahead of everything out there.

Adding a story simply means adding more content. Never a bad thing (unless the story is bad). It will give character more screen time and dialogue. you'd know and learn more about characters stuff like that. Believe it or not, not everyone just wants to fight online in thier fighting games. They want $60 worth of content. But that's not the case with VF and it's a shame because the J6 plot on kidnapping Sarah Bryant would've been such a great compelling story behind their games. Or at least just wished there was an ending to each character arcade runs or something..playing through the arcade with a character and not getting anything in return? Just a Congratulations screen? Maybe a trophy? Things like that in this day and age is just not gonna cut it. You cant demand for a Virtua Fighter 6 and want it to have Virtua Fighter 4 and 5 stuff. It needs to have new things. And cmon why would they lose thier fans for adding a simple story?? Forget the TK, SF and MK fans..I'm a VF fan and I actually want a story this time around!

There are a lot of VF players who could care less about a story and can't understand why people care about a story in the first place. But there are just as many VF players maybe more who like the back story and want more. And you're right for those of us who like the single player aspect of VF we want more story, and we want Sega to spend more resources on the story. All the online players need is good net code, balance, and frames they don't even care about customizations:ROTFL: But the casual VF players want more single player content and that includes a good story mode. And contrary to popular belief there are always more casual players in fighting games than there are hard core players, always;)

Yea I feel like thats the main point on any game personally. Sell the game to casuals or new players alike while maintaining interest to your long time fans. I honestly doubt I would hear anyone say..

"To hell with this game, it has a story mode!" With out even trying it out first. Lol

Yes, it's the same as Yakuza 6 version (just arcade mode and VS), playable from inside Club Sega arcade or from game main menu for VS mode.
Judgment also include Fighting Vipers (Model 2 version) and Motor Raid, another Model 2 racing game that was never ported on Saturn or Dreamcast!

So it's worth the price even just for the Sega arcade games included :D

The game have some microtransaction, but luckly are just cosmetic things like ornaments for the protagonist's office.

The problem is that I tried Tekken 6 and 7 story modes and they were nauseating piece of trash.

NRS' are passable and that's because of the references they throw.

I know those modes.were meant to be campy but I don't think a fighting game.should.waste resources in these and rather waste them to creat better mechanics and add fighter stages and enrich single player component through other means. VF4 Evo jumps to mind. Yes I think Evo had better single player than Tekken 7 and Injustice 2.

Yes a visually improved, smoother animating VF6 will be better for me than a campy story mode containing VF6.

Wow Fighting Vipers 2 also. I've heard a lot about it, never had to the chance to play it, I'm definitely getting Judgment now.

One thing I don't like the blue and red streams in the fights in Judgment that I've been checking out on youtube. Can you turn that crap off:ROTFL:

Wow! I myself didn't realise, that Fighting Vipers was in Judgement. That is cool. And I was just playing Fighting Vipers 2 last week Wednesday, and I finally unlocked Del Sol. He is a luchador that kinda fights like El Blaze, but he's more like a low budget version of him. And was around long before El Blaze ever appeared in VF5. He even has a magic move too, which was surprising for me. And his second player blue moon costume is super sick!

I think the best way DOA6 players could communicate their frustration to Team Ninja and Tecmo and still enjoy the game is:

    1. Simply don't buy the hair color changes, or spend a dime on DLC

    2. Play and stream DOA5LR.

Just agree as a community to go back to an older version of the game and play and stream that online. Bring the online play of DOA6 down to Zero, and the micro-transactions purchased down to Zero. And help Tecmo to understand that $hit ain't gone fly.

I purchased DOA5 and DOA5LR, but I'll never purchase another DOA until they're micro-transaction free, and out of the soft porn business:cool:

I agree. That might be the best way to get tecmo, to stop doing silly crap like that. The whole dlc/microtransaction thing, has gotten way out of hand, with them and other game companies, for the past couple of years.
