If anyone's supposed to have mahjong, I must insist that one of the chinese get it, since they came up with it in the first place. On the other hand, All mahjong that isn't multiplayer sucks imo. One thing with the voices that would be so cool is if they made the chinese speak chinese, the french speak french, and italian speak italian. It would be very cool, but it wouldn't be too good for another idea of mine...to make the pre-match comments character specific, so that Lion doesn't say "...old men" to Pai or Sarah(just an example). It would be great if they actually said something to each other instead of just talking past the other

    "take that!"

they have got to redo the battle cries. i mean why the hell are so many VF chars yelling out "take that"? it was originally just Wolf i think, but now, it seems like half the cast yells out "take that!". it annoys me so much, when i'm doing some massive throw, and the char yells out "take that!". -____- ok, may be keep it for Lion, but for Vanessa, Wolf, Jeff, and whoever else, it's gotta go. but of course, knowing Sega/AM2, we'll prob have Akira yelling out "taku datu!" in VF5.

Because all Aussies = Steve Irwin obviously. Jeffry could wrestle a croc for sure.

yeah, the voices really do need some work. utterly pathetic voice acting. i think they should all just speak japanese (which would be cool, cuz japanese voice acting is usually damn good and just sounds cool). or get really good voice actors and have each character speak his/her native tongue.

THAT would be even better. Jeff speaking Japanese would be extremely weird as I havent seen many 250+lb muscular black guys spouting off japanese.

    didn't mean to offend.

i didnt say to turn him into some road-train driving, outback living, fosters drinking, shrimp on the barbee stereotype. i hate stereotyping. i've been a victim of it my whole life. i'm just saying give him an accent. and the same thing applies to Lion and Brad. if they're gonna speak english, give them an accent. otherwise let them speak their language. i mean, how much sense would it make if Jacky or Sarah spoke Swahili? or if Akira spoke english with a Liverpudlian accent. it's just silly. and who the hell is Steve Irwin? and last i checked Jeffrey has beef with a shark not a croc.

That's mainly because Japanese voice actors take themselves seriously. Voice acting in the US that's not for a major motion picture is usually half-assed.

I hope it does because that would be awesome...

very rarely is voice acting in the US done proper.

All the characters should really speak their own language and for those that speak English, have em speak w/ their respective accents.

They should include a Karate character for the next one and trash any plans to make it more "Tekken-ish". Also, further on that note, the minute anyone spits out a fireball is the moment I stop playing VF. A Tae Kwon Do specialist wouldn't be a bad idea either and i'm sure they could utilize some european styles of fighting.

    accents and euro styles

i'm glad someone agrees with me on this. and i guess they could make a decent Savate or Sambo fighter if they wanted to use european fighting styles; although i know, i just know some folks might say that Savate is too similar to TKD, and Sambo is too similar to Vale Tudo.

vale tudo is not a fighting style, but more a type of fight. Sambo is a style.

    Re: accents and euro styles

i am fully aware of that. i guess the reason they listed her as Vale Tudo is cos perhaps she uses a variety of styles used in Vale (e.g. BJJ, Pancrase, Kickboxing, etc...) And the only reason i said what i said is cos it's true; a number of people would more than likely compare a Sambo fighter to Vanessa. but either way it's nice to know somebody else knows that it's a sport not a style. i'm surprised sega didn't list her style as K-1 or UFC. then again they do list sarah as knowing the unstoppable style of MARTIAL ARTS!!!

    Re: accents and euro styles

yeah, what is up w/ listing Sarah's style as Martial Arts?! She used to be Jeet Kun Do... and what kind of style is Martial Arts anyway (as in it's not a style)? It just seems pretty retarded if you ask me. They need to take some of her Tae Kwon Do stuff out and make a TKD character and maybe put more Kung Fu into her moves list, because JKD is a very free and unrestricted art form.

    Re: accents and euro styles

it's so bloody silly whenever i read it. it's like they did it as some kind of twisted inside joke, to piss any VF fans with even a hint of a brain off. but the last thing i think Sarah needs is more of a Kung-Fu bent. style wise she's fine; except her punch game needs a little work. and it would be nice if you could just [P]+[K]+[G] into flamingo.
