Not able to play with standard ps3 dualshock stick

    Hi,

Im new to ps3 system but i've played fighting games before and i prefer using joysticks for character movement.
But I've not been able to configure my ps3 to play with joystick (on the standard controller that comes with ps3).
I have to play with the arrow keys on the dualshock.

Is there a way to configure it or i have to buy a separate joystick.

VF5 doesn't allow for use of the analog sticks to control movement :3

Do yourself a favor and purchase an arcade. It will change your life.

Once you really get into VF it's amazing. Hook yourself up with a Japanese style stick (Sanwa/Seimitsu) and then have at it.

As soon as you get used to playing on a stick you will NEVER look back to playing on a pad.

Re: Smarter AI vs Online Play

I own the 360 version, i would never play it on the PS3. both of the games are pretty much old now, but the 360 version just keeps it fresh and interesting and not to mention funny. IMO the most interesting threads on this site comes from online play from people with good nature, to people talking smack, sending hate mail, popping veins and breaking xbox controllers maybe even the tv . . .etc its all happening online
