    Tell me about it! Two clips in one day and they both feature solid game play! Players are finally starting to wise up to his new moves.

    up0112.wmv: Off the top of my head I think we saw [6_][K] = I thought it would be a high knee but a high kick from standing neutral that causes a head crumble works just fine for me. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    <font color="red">SB:</font> [K] = It's been reanimated into a proper round kick!!! /versus/images/graemlins/tear.gif /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tear.gif /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tear.gif

    Hop [K] = Has been reanimated to an actual push kick! No more side kick nonsense!

    And I'm, pretty certain that we saw <font color="red">SL</font> or <font color="red">SR</font>, [8]/[2], [K] at the end of round three! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    I'm ecstatic and I haven't even examined the other clip: z34.wmv properly, yet I know there's some quality nuggets of info in that one too! Serves me right for staying up all night… I’m too tired to write them up now but when I do they’ll probably be the most informative assessments I’ve written to date! /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

    The bounce combos are about as believable as the TFT throw, which always seemed a bit out of place to me (at least at first...now it is an accepted staple of vf). I dunno, maybe the bounce will grow on me...maybe I'll play tekken.

    TFT is accepted b/c it's KAGAY since that move is only for a specific character. With bouncing it's a property that's in the game as a whole.

    Whining about specific moves are fine but a properties is getting in a area that's not too good of a sign. Like the discussion of characters are getting too generalize w/ them having too similar of moves as well as the properties.

    In VF4E, Jeffry have ful-circular high move [4][6]+[P] and Wolf... His [6][6]+[K]+[G] is full circular too. ROFL /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif

    Brad's [3][3][P],[P] and [6][6][P]+[K],[P] are shown, too. They really do look very similar, though [3][3][P],[P] switches stance.

    Jacky's standing [K] iaigeri is in z36.wmv.

    Ok, now that definitly looks wrong. If they tweaked the bounce effect a little more I think it would be nice addition. Right now they seem way too high. Lei Fei's bounce seems more reaonable. One thing that's got to change is Akira's [4][3][P]. The fact that it bounces and leaves you with a n easy [2_][4][6][P] just isnt right. I mean, [4][3][P] to [2_][4][6][P] is what I used to do in arcade mode because I wasn't good enough to do his dbplm properly. I can only imagine what actual Akira players must think.

    Yes indeed. Just commenting on them briefly: [3][3][P][P] appears to be a new combo starter, both punches seemingly float on a counter. While [6][6][P]+[K][P] is very useful within float combos or as a finisher of them.

    Kudos, you were right about its appearance, thus that infamous combo against Aoi was:

    <font color="red">D:</font> [P]+[K] sabaki, [6][P]+[K], [P], [6][6][P]+[K][P], <font color="red">D:</font> [K].

    There are in fact three Brad clips today and they all have important info in them. I'm going to have my hands full picking the clips apart tonight. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

    apparently wolfs [6][6][K]+[G] unblockable is full too /versus/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

    in leifei vs jeffry, seems like they toned down the range of Jeffrys catch throw by a lot
    Kage vs Blaze, kagays infamous TFT bug previously shown in kage vs aoi, shows up again. . . /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    Regarding the whole "topless" debate; I noticed that in one of the latest Brad vs Kage clips: z34.wmv

    Kage wasn't wearing his "mesh shirt" under his gi in his traditional A costume. He could still have a bare chest option but perhaps there are layers to the amount of skin shown...

    I'd love to see a topless option for Shun though; the "buff old man" factor cracks me up. Like Master Roshi from the DBZ series. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

    Looking back at the VF1 characters it’s amazing how far graphics has progressed in just over a decade... Even a few years back the in-game VF5 character models would have been considered pure CG and featured as promotional material on billboards and in magazines.

    Now, the "promotional material" is creeping ever closer to "photo realism". It won't be long till we have sockets in the back of our heads and are fighting disgruntled sentient machines for dominion over what's left of the world...

    …Or maybe not.

    hmm yeh, ur right jeff;s move is full circular~~

    but what is this amazingly mysterious wolf move which keeps popping up? /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    wolf's ff+k+g ~ is not unblockable, it's face down recovery, small staggers on block, and is evadable both ways

    the only unblockable kick wolf has is uf+k+g which is evadable both ways.

    df+k+g is evadable both ways.

    uf+k is evadable both ways.

    K+G is half circular~ /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

    woohaa so many movies on june 21st,, where to start?

    i liked yesterday's Brad vs Kage fight (Akira stage), Brad is a character that is starting to grow on me

    anyways if it really isnt full circular, VFDC moveslist lies to me /versus/images/graemlins/tear.gif

    I just know the jeffry chop is full for sure

    Jide Suggested this on IRC to make a wall paper of that pic, heres something quick i chopped up real quick at 1600 resolution, i might make a widescreen one later. I left the leftside open for desktop icons . . .

    Jeffry's bottleneck cut is one of the best full circulars in the game...can't believe you forgot about it!

    hi all~

    i just watched an Sarah vs Akira clip

    it seems that Akira's stumble trip [4][2][P]+[G] was activated from a crouch dash which u cant do in VF4~

    so i guess the throw is now exicutable from crouch ~

    You can do it in 4 as well.
    Just have to tap back,back down +p+g

    If you meant that players can now input the command normally in 5 without the need to buffer, well then u're right. Great news indeed
