Akira's D costume is probably a close second. Maybe if AM2 toned down the shininess a little, darkened the color...na they should completely revamp it. Either casual clothing (jacket and jeans, Terry Bogard style would be nice) or casual, traditional Japanese clothing (complete with wooden sandals, maybe shorts). The current D outfit though? Hmm, I honestly like the harlequin motif except the red streak going down the sides ruins that concept. If its customizable to remove it (or color it black) that would be cool or change it to white to keep the dichotomy. If I had to pick to have Lion's cos.D or his VF2 throwback, I'd have to go with the Marty McFly look. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I also want to say I'm liking all of the new outfits for everyone. That's right I said it! I'd love to wear El Blaze's D suit or Goh's B on a night out on the town. On occasion, you have to dress in style to be a true individual. Look at my avatar for reference. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

A major complaint that general gamers have with the VF series was that the character designs were stale and bland. People noticed Brad and Goh when they debuted that they were "different" from the original cast members. The new mannerisms and animations in VF5 for all the characters definetly add noticeable flare . The new audacious outifts available give even more effect. I don't think anyone will call VF5 "boring" when seeing characters in their flashy getup.

Overall, I'm really glad Sega is giving more options in appearance. One can have a classic traditional look or be a brazen freak. The choice is yours. /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif

A bunch of new clips on hk-vf.net. Highlights include Pai vs. Eileen, Brad vs. Aoi, Eileen vs. Goh, and a double-dose of ninjas with Senningiri taking one side. Aoi has a new sleeveless outfit - I'm not sure if it's a default style or an option item? It does make her look kind of boyish, though. Pop on over there and see for yourself.

 

I noticed that as well, although I didn't know which movie was it. I was sure when I saw the last few moves in the fight. Not many fight's have such desperate ending with so low energy bars on both sides /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

 

In the Wolf vs Kage match (the one where wolf is wearing the red cape, blue pants and kage is wearing the white outfit). Wolf has an impressive first round with an interesting combo that just looks plain mean, can anyone tell me how this combo goes.

 

I am not sure, but I think there are far more damaging things to do than that combo.
I think it is:
+ (full charge), +, , , .....and that's it...I think

Looks like a bunch of the males have a shirtless clothing option. That's not going to happen for the gals, obviously, but it looks like you can get fairly close: In the Shun vs. Vanessa video, she's not wearing her usual jacket, just the bikini top.

Has anyone seen those two bugs in Kage vs Aoi ?
First, Kage receives a stun after Aoi's + while doing some back turning attack, which results in a....hmmm....strange looking situation.
Second, at the end of the match, Aoi lingers in the air for a moment while "deciding" whether she should fall behind the low fence, or maybe mysteriously fly back to the ring.....LOL again /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif

yeah that + really didn't even hit him, pure air lol, am2 need to sort out the hitboxes, I've seen alot of moves just hit air, especially with big vs small characters, 1 example is wolf's neutral + /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif
Edit: on close inspection Aoi's + hits Kage's backturned kick just, and I mean the atoms just touch lol, but it's the lack of animation frames that make it look bad, a few more frames to make hits like that look more natrual wouldn't hurt /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Looks like Lion now has a shirtless option too. He was one of the last people I'd expect to see shirtless but I should have known after seeing the other male characters have that option.

I agree with everyone that the two tekken things are annoying the wall affect and the super high bounce combos. For some odd reason I don't mind the outfits that are long (I personally think they are showing off the cloth physics with that idea).
