    dude...it's really simple

first u copy the link..then u paste it anywhere u prefer...

    then u edit....

javascript:callleftvideo('http://www.hk-vf.net/movie/vf5_pkg/2006-6-11_22_2_AOI_vs_WOLF.wmv') -> this is how the original link looks like.

remove the uneeded n u will get this

    There we go.

Note, the brackets in the 2nd address are still there only because I do not wish to create a direct link here. But, you get the picture. Remove the brackets n happy DLing.

LOL OMG I've been typing in <url> </url> for nothing, the forum will automatically make an http into a link!

Does anyone know whey hk-vf.net is purposely putting their clips up this way?

Very Cool, I don't know what the hell maybe think it wasn't as easy as pasting a link. Oh yeah, and thanks for not calling me a Dunce.

Yes, I'm quite sure that hot linking (which you're attempting to do) is against HK-VF.tv rules.

Cephiros_VII FAQ - "How to download from HK-VF.tv?"

I suggest using download accelerator for downloading vids.*

    1. Internet explorer users:
    - right click on link
    - choose "copy shotcut"**
    - paste that shortcut as a URL into your browser
    - delete the RED part of it as shown in example:
    <font color="red">javascript:callleftvideo('</font>http://www.hk-vf.net/movie/vf5_pkg/2006-6-11_22_15_KAGE_vs_WOLF.wmv<font color="red">')</font>
    - press ENTER
    - now there are 2 possibilities:
    - you have Windows Media Player plugin active:
Your WMP will open and start buffering the file -> from file menu choose: save file as... -> and save it /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
    - you don't have Windows Media Player plugin active:
A window "Do you want to download the file..." will appear -> download the file

    2. FireFox users:
    - right clik on link
    - choose "copy url"***
    - paste that shortcut as a URL into your browser
    - delete the RED part of it as shown in example:
    <font color="red">javascript:callleftvideo('</font>http://www.hk-vf.net/movie/vf5_pkg/2006-6-11_22_15_KAGE_vs_WOLF.wmv<font color="red">')</font>
    - DON'T press ENTER
    - now there are 2 possibilities:
    - pase that url into any download accelerator
    - paste that url into IE and... a window "Do you want to download the file..." will appear -> download the file

    *my favorite is FlashGet (free)
**I've got polish version of IE and "copy shortcut" is my private translation /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif , anyway that option is right after copy/paste....
***another private translation, that option is always 2nd on the right-click menu

Great vids, but seeing the Aoi vs Wolf makes me need to vent.
I was really, really hoping that Sega would change the animation for Aoi's [2][4][8][6]+[P]+[G] and followup, because it looks fucking terrible. Seriously, look at how nicely all of her other throws flow, and then look at this thing. The way Aoi and the opponent jerk around when she's got them on the ground, breaking their arm and then kicking them away - it looks unrealistic, choppy, and positively ridiculous. I'm honestly puzzled as to how AM2 deemed that particular animation acceptable to begin with, and even moreso as to why they've kept it that way through several revisions.

Yes, I know it's stupid and dorky to whine about this, but dammit, it's one of my few pet peeves with the game and it annoys me greatly. I can't be alone here in my distaste, right? Right? /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

    [/ QUOTE ]

No /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif That throw definitly isn't unrealistic. I know what I say because I've been training Aikido for 10 years and performed that throw hundreds of time, however without the kicking part. In Aikido this throw is called "kotegaeshi".

I'm a firefox user and I too was pissed at that linking crap. I found a way around it, yey.

I use this extension called Get File 1.2.1: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1925/

Press shift+G to bring up a box to paste the link into, delete the unwanted script crap, press download, pick desktop or wherever you like the video to be downloaded, wait and watch. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think they are trying to re-create VF.TV outside of Japan.

Click on the link as per normal and the vid will play on wmp (on site).

It's quite good. No stutter, frame rater, connection etc etc issues.

I hope this goes on for the long haul, it's just what we need.

In the "up0076.wmv" vid, you can akira's new side setup throw. It looks like the lau player tries to [2][P] and gets hit with akira's [3][K] which results in the new side crumble. I know sarah has a throw similar to this, but I'm wondering what the other characters have.

Not too crazy about that new side throw, looks like it was piece together for the hell of it. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yeah, I'm not a fan of sticking multiple slow strikes together while the opponent stands still or flails around exaggeratedly and calling it a throw. The worst are the ones where the characters don't even touch for the most part, like Sarah's new kicking throw and Jacky's reanimated [3][P]+[K] hitthrow; they reek of an animator who simply couldn't come up with any new ideas and threw in a simplified dial-a-combo instead. The fact that the animation speed tends to drop during them so that the hits look powerless doesn't help.

Whining aside, now. I think all or almost all characters have a side setup throw, right? We've seen Akira's, Shun's, Jacky's, Sarah's, Eileen's, I think Pai's and of course Aoi's, and so on. Seems to go hand in hand with the side-turning kicks being handed out to everyone.
I'm curious, though, whether choosing to go to one side over the other really makes a difference either frame- or otherwise, or if it's just for positioning relative to the edges of the ring.
Oh, speaking of the ring, I'm kind of disappointed that the five ring types from Evo+ have been further winnowed down to 3. But I'll bitch elsewhere.

Edit: Actually, the side setup throws probably have more in common with the last hit of the SPoD instead of the PIT, i.e. the same animation will come out regardless of which direction you hit. I don't know.

I completly agree. I wish just to point on some El Blaze throws too. I know in lucha libre they perform a lot of cool and weired things but... Catch an opoonent, then spin three times around him befor throw him? And the same type you describe - knock him on the knees and then run around him like mad for long time before kick him finnaly down? Catch his hand and start jumping around it like on trapze; and opponent will allow it without any resistance? /versus/images/graemlins/tear.gif

AM2 acts weired. They toned down duration of some Jeffry´s long throws (like [3][3]+[P]+[G]) and at the same time create much longer El Blaze throws..?

Nice! Vanessa’s D costume is something casual. And that win quote:

"On the battlefield, you’d be dead!"

That’s pure Ikari Warriors or Major Kusanagi talk. Classic! /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I really think I will dabble with her and Goh once VF5 is released. I’m so pleased with the overall presentation and style of the characters. I can’t wait. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm currently enjoying all the great clips that have been provided great fights all around. My only complaint is that Vanessa seems way to changed from what she was. Her moves seem different, one of her stances makes her look way to slouchy, and has anyone seen the newest issue of play magazine; where she is fighting against brad (she honestly looks a little to pale).
Whoever that Shun-Di player is seriously has an impressive game and everyone should check out the new Shun-Di clips.
