Virtua Fighter 5 Location Test Videos MEGA THREAD!!

Sorry, guys. I haven't been updating since I recently moved to Cali. Trying to settle everything down and will be back soon.

 

I’ve been downloading the five zip files for the past 5 hours and I’ve only just got all of Aoi’s file. It contains the following:

Kage vs Aoi (I’ve seen)
Kage vs Aoi_2 (I’ve seen)
Wolf vs Aoi
Kage vs Aoi_3
Lau vs Aoi (I’ve seen)
Pai vs Aoi
Pai vs Aoi_2

The ones I’ve seen are fairly common, just so you guys know what you’re getting.

Goh vs Goh (I’ve seen, sound cuts out at the very end)
Jacky vs Goh (One of SuperGolden's clips)
Jeffry vs Goh (I've seen)
Jeffry vs Goh_2 (I've seen)
Lion vs Goh (I've seen)
Wolf vs Goh
Lion vs Goh_2 (I've seen but this one has sound)

 

actually, the filebank thing works fine w/ my mac, it's just slow.

 

It's slow in windows too. Its almost been 8 hours and all i have is Akira, Aoi, and Brad (almost)

 

Whoa! No one said they'd updated the files available. I've been downloading for the better part of 13 hours hoping to find some Brad content in one of the other character's files, when all this time I could have just clicked refresh?!

maybe someone could mirror the ones we haven't seen. I too tried to download them, but it's way to slow, so I cancled.

Also I am interested to know about the movies in the Akira zip. I haven't seen any decent Akira movies so any info about this would be greatly appreciated.

hi bryan... good to see your still around. I haven't seen you on LIVE lately, but it's good to know your well. I know where your priorities reside and understand why you can't game that much. Still I was a little worried cause I haven't seen you post anything in a while. Take care bro!

 

The Eileen section seems to be all old archives accept I see one of her fighting shun. I don't know if that has been posted around here or not.

About the Akira section all of them Ive seen, but I don't recollect a Akira vs Shun vid being posted here. Maybe I'm wrong.

Actually, after paying more attention, i noticed that there are a couple of new things in these videos!

Akira vs Shun - after winning a round, Shun goes into the drunken stance while doing two punches (almost definitely high). he doesn't use it in the fight though, so this move and what it offers is unkown.
Jeffrey vs Shun (raft stage, i've seen it)
Sarah vs Shun (Shou v Namflow, i've seen it)
Shun vs Brad
Shun vs Eileen (seen it before)
Shun vs El Blaze (SuperGolden maiming Shun, seen it /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif)
Shun vs Vanessa

Throughout the videos, I noticed people use some stepforward move that leaves Shun backturned... but in every video this appears in, Shun gets punished IMMEDIATELY for doing it. I think it would be more useful in oki situations, but apparently everyone using it in these videos thought they should throw it out randomly XD; Another thing I noticed was that no one made use of to , after Shun's crumple... I'm tempted to think it's because they were more interested in pressure than in damage, but do you think they made it so that the combo is no longer effective? Doubtful... but who knows?

That's all that I've noticed anyways. There's surely a lot more, but all we can do now is wait, i guess~

 

So after we have the Jacky and Lei Fei vids then that will be all of them.

Jacky is awesome.

His opening taunt " C'mon, knock yourself out ! " makes me laugh. His last throw at the end were he kicks the foe in the face is sweet.

 

Oh wow there are quite a few new vids in the jacky.zip file.

5 new vids 4 wolf matches and a lau match.

BTW after I'm done with the Lei Fei (would have done shun but those have been determined to be old archives) file who can I give the new vids so they can be uploaded?

Nvm, I finally got a download going. I'm downloading the Jacky one. It's ETA is a little over 2 hours which doesn't seem too bad. I saw up0039 and I see that Jacky can now side step after certain moves.
