Lion's opening "You'd better take me seriously"....hehe...sucks as well as the ending "I want a serious fight". However I find his ending "Forget to train, eh?" quite funny.
Oh...and his opening "It's showtime" is simple but sound good /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif Just like the old "What a knucklehead".

Jacky's opening "Let's see if you can walk the walk" ...This one's not bad.

Jacky's ending "I've got no time for you!" (He just fought someone....could be good at the begining...or not... whatever)
His ending "It's like you're moving in slow motion" somehow sounds fammiliar....

In the El Blaze's opening where he says "Start running NOW !"...Why does he smell himself where he shouldn't....it's just sick /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif
And why does he say "Yes! Heavyweights are nothing to me!" even after winning against Pai :/
His opening "What are you waiting for? Come get some" sounds almost like Duke Nukem /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif but ending "I am the ultimate" sound like he is a Pink Power Ranger....lame.
Other thing is that whatever Goh and Akira say....and maybe Kage....they sound SO cool, that I almost piss into my pants whenever I hear them.

 

In 200604272323_Ka_vs_Ei.wmv Eileen begins the fight with a move simmilar to Lion's + and it even works the same (wow, surprise). What's funny is that she also has a throw that looks just like Lion's + /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif Doesn't Sega have any new ideas for moves for new characters? At least El Blaze has some individual moves.... or not. Have you noticed any of his moves looking the same as for example Wolf's?

EDIT: Eileen has an outfit with a pink T-shirt which has "Monkey Tricks" written on it. Quite funny /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

i wouldn't be surprised if the setting changes based on maybe a universal time system through vf.net... i.e. if it's morning you get semi bright... if it's afternoon you get BRIGHT!... if it's evening, well you get the idea.

Would be a nice little feature I guess.

Let me correct myself, my favorite stages for music are Kage's and Lau's. I originally said Aoi's and Lau's were but, I was playing some vf4 evo and remembered that Kage's stage was the one with the blosssoms, and not Aoi's.
Someone was making guesses as far as what character had which stage I agreed with alot of them but some I dissagree here is my small list of dissagreaments.
Sarah=collisseum
El-blaze=muddy
Eileen=spring mountain.
As for Dural I think that one is top secret. Even if we have seen most if not all the stages, maybe some characters have more than one stage.

I like the new music, a lot better than the music in ft or evo. The music is more thematic, it suits the specific stages better in than in the previous games.

My favorite music is in the coleseum stage, the raft stage and the library stage, all the other stages are ok, the only stage music i don't like is the one in the wrestling arena, the one with all the people watching.

 

Are there any places where I can find VF5 matches with Jacky in them?
