VF5 update

There are new hi rez verions of character pics on the VF5 website.

We've already seen the pics, but these are higher quality. I made one my pc background, though it took some finagling on my part.

I have a snow day today. No School. Hooray for me.

Hi, any body thinks it's a great idea those Getup kicks be replaced with special getup moves? like Akira stand into Yoho or somthing that is unique & special. Instead of lame basic kicks that still look like VF1:\

I really expected VF5 to have some sort of Ground Grapling techniques & moves added as standard to all( like AOI's laydown reversal & throws)

That looks amazing. I just hope not everyone in the game is that shiny...I mean, doesn't look bad on him, but I don't want to see Goh all shinny like that. Sure seems to be the trend now a days...

 

lol, anybody here care to take a wild guess what language el blaze will speak? i'm thinking spanish from the way his mouth gets shaped in those pics but hey, i've been known to be wrong

btw goh doesn't look to be that shiny from what i've seen so far, el blaze has just got a sweat gland problem going there, also from the look of his knuckles i'd say he's coming down with psoriasis

el blayze or el bla zay (add accent)? *shrugs* I always say the 2nd way since it's a latino name.

The same as the first way you think,
the official site of VF5 also calls him as `el blayze `.

 

yeah it´s el blayze, you could also say el blah zay if he was spanish instead of mexican, seeing how spain is more tight about not using anglicisms, mexico and the rest of latin america throws anglicisms around like they were on sale

(anglicism=word from english language spoken in that language)

anyways, i´m damn glad it´s not gonna be for X360, i hate those concave pads, and i´m not too keen on having a DOA image on a stick. plus i also want to play MGS4 lol

I'm willing to bet some half ass coolie speak that's supposed to sound like a mexican accent.

Sega doesn't try very hard in this aspect. If they did you'd see pai/lau/lei etc. speaking their native tongues... or even Vanessa at that. (portuguese)

 

In an interview with 1UP.com, Peter Moore said that there is no plans for a Xbox 360 conversion of Virtua Fighter 5, and the DQVIII developer Level 5 does not have any plans to develop for Xbox 360, although they still have a relationship with the company.

ps3 seems all the more inevitable

 

I like Jacky's new look. He actually looks like a man. Before, I was worried.

 

What are you talking about? His character was pretty good IMO.

Now they made it even better with the new looks and the new graphics.

lol, i think you're right about it being some fake accent type thing, but really, why would vanessa speak portuguese, after all she was raised in the mighty U.S.OF A

is spanish your native tongue? do you prefer speaking spanish over english if given a choice?

besides, i don´t think this lewis character who adopted her was brazilian, if so it would be a longshot that he spoke portuguese as well, and even more of a longshot that he would pass it on to her without it being his native tongue.

y a fin de cuentas cual es tu punto? yo tambien hablo inglés (DUH) y nunca he vivido en los estados unidos, ademas si me dan la opcion voy a hablar español, no ingles

btw archangel, there´s gonna be something along the lines of 4 costumes available to select on VF5, why fix a good costume set when you can just make the rest to be different?

Thats not true. Goh's appearance has changed from VF4 to VF5. In VF5, He now looks less like a human, and more like frankenstein for christ sakes.
