I never said its not coming. I said TGS is the last window for the game to be made for console after it didnt show up at e3. Again, if the release is before summer next year, it was dumb of sega not to mention it at this years E3 or Gamescon as those are the markets they need to concentrate on with this game.

I am fairly sure the VF5FS petition made it's impact, and the game is in some stage of development.

But just how much of an impact has it truly made??? Silence isn't really a good sign of impact or change...

    Holy Crap.

My wife said this morning something good was going to happen and it happened in fours.

1)My mother in law moved away
2)We had a 24 inch pizza for dinner
3)I found out this community existed
    4)This

Please let this be true Sega. Don't break our hearts.

How can they not? I would assume that a port of this nature would take them a while to port. Were they working on the hypothetical console version alongside the arcade version? If you ask me the game looks virtually the same as vanilla character model wise, and in some cases the backgrounds are basically swaps from previous versions.

I see your point there, not a whole lot has been changed. The gameplay however looks addicting.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but this seemed like a safe bet. [IMG]

After purchasing the VF5FS Masters Guide from my local bookstore I was inspired by the fact that unlike the tekken 6 "perfect" guide this one actually has all the juicy info one would expect from an extensive guide. Seeing as how there might be a console release for this game now, I decided to start transcribing and translating the movelist/frame data section for the vf community who don't speak Japanese/have access to VF5FS, so they can be better prepared for when it finally does drop for consoles. So far, I have gotten the info for Akira and Taka-Arashi completed in rough and dirty form. Hopefully I can add the base info for more chars at a rate of 1 or 2 more per day, (thank god VF only has 19 chars!) and then add all the extra notes and move names. And make it a little prettier. VF5FS Movelist & Frame Data

some quick notes on the guide:

Sidestep is the way you must sidestep the move to avoid it. Either towards the front of a your opponent or their back, or both.

Drink removal is how many drinks you take away from Shun if you hit him with a move that has the ability to do so.

Screen recoil is when the camera does a dramatic angle that zooms in when you hit an opponent with said move.

    Struggle is the Joystick stun/stagger.

    Down is launch/knockdown.

That's all I can think of for now. Please Enjoy! [IMG]
