With R i relaxed for 2 years and got shafted... At this point now i really don't care. If it comes...It comes. If not then Halo reach, Black Ops and Gears 3 will have to due.

 

SF fans weren't staring at a game that's already out, hoping it would become playable. They were clueless and figured the chain was done lol. This is a wee bit different. And has been for a couple years now.

 

Yugioh tag duel 5, Kingdom Hearts Birth by sleep and Naruto Ultimate Ninja storm 2 will have to do. Whenever, Saints row 3 comes I will be all over that.

I am still pissed. I was really hoping for those costume battles.

 

You could buy Tekken cabinets if you wanted to (one or two dudes on TZ have). Nobody really "waited", it's just that Namco US didn't officially distribute the cabinets in the US.

Sega is basically saying VF is a game for Japanese arcades ONLY.

 

I'm with you. I'll be tickled pink if it comes out, but there's no way I'm expecting it to.

 

I am now depressed. Sega dropped the final Bombdown and this gives me all the reason to stop playing video games. It appears that the world will face another great depression. Japan at least has arcades, and Anime. America has nothing at all. First Bloody Roar dies and now Virtua Fighter is going too.

 

Why should any of us be concerned about it, its not like we will be able to play R or FS any time soon unless we go to Japan to play the game there. If this game comes out outside of Japan on console and it ends up being the last version of VF overall then I will be happy regardless until then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

 

Japan only PS3 and I be cool with that too.

 

Wait a second, you Japanese can only play it in arcades?At this point I will drop donations to AM2 and Sega just to have the game. If it comes down to Japan Ps3 only then I will port a Japanese PlayStation 3 and the game.

Yeah I've seen some of that (the big banners, shows, yakuza noodles, famous actors(?) etc. I'm assuming the reason they put so much into the marketing for it is because it was a success in the first place and they see the potential for a lot more.

 

Umm....Whut?

Even had a live-action film by Takeshi Miike that was prertty decent, I'm told. It also helps when the Ryu ga Gotoku/Yakuza (like VF) series hasn't really had a "bad" game yet. That, VF, Phantasy Star and I guess Valkyira are the only good series Sega has right now.

 

Maybe I should have said a third person version of Halo made by Sega. To be honest I don't care because Sega will release games that I know that I will not pick up. Having withdraws.

 

I think vanquish look and plays great. I played the demo definitely some potential for fun.

 

Im Co-signing!!! I had a blast plying this game. The pace is nice and the main character moves are Fluid. This is definetly not a TPS Halo so you can dead that shit. This game plays Like a Hi-Powered Outrigger with Gears covering techs blended with Bayonetta grace and Metal Gear's Raiden armor. I will support sega on this one because i Love the fast pace nature to it.

 

The only thing that would make Vanquish better is co-op haha. Game's dope, just how I hoped it would be.

 

Another decade of Street Fighter,Tekken, maybe Soul Calibur 5, Mortal Kombat.(Crying)(Sobbing)(Balling)(Wiping).

 

US PS3's can play Japanese PS3 games no problem.

 

Fuck the bullshit, get another petition started and bring Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown to Xbox Marketplace & PSN for download like Namco did Tekken 5R

 

We'll see whats up with a release at TGS in 10 days.
