Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown

I think it's a good change. I think the effects will be making the throw game less scary for novice players (which is a good thing), while making the throw game scarier against those who could multithrowescape reliably.

It's all useless though if we don't get the game, which is something worth grumbling about until there's real confirmation.

 

What's very funny is these changes will also suit online play as well.. I will never need to question whether lag played a part in my throw escapes!

Which suggests to me this game is coming to Console

 

Honestly you don't have to be clairvoyant or play the game to figure some stuff out. I like the MTE, I don't like that they removed it and I find it's unfortunate. Sure I don’t know exactly how it’ll play out with all the other changes, but you can take some educated guesses.

True story that runs a fantastic parallel. My favourite bar stopped stocking Maker’s Mark, a bourbon I quite enjoy. The owner told me he’d get other stuff that more people enjoyed instead. Now I didn’t need to go to the bar to know that I’d miss having my bourbon, it’s a pretty simple equation. I still go to the bar, and I still enjoy myself no question about it, but damn it I miss my Maker’s Mark. Same thing with FS (if I ever play it); I’m sure I’ll have a blast, but I’m also sure I’ll miss the fun of MTEs.

As you can see the player just entered TWO Throw's Escape. Idk why this is happening but i think it's good. Let's discuss it if you know something about

Hey Zero-Chan? You ever played with Spider-Man in Marvel Superheroes then try to use him in Marvel VS Capcom 2 the same way? That how i look at FS. Upgrade overall but i will miss some of the things that made it special to begin with.

Im Starting to think VF5:FS so far is a Minor Fail. I mean not that its not a great game. I don't want to ruffle any feathers (Eventhough it will.) but this is something i can't overlook here. The games been out for a month and i don't see a lot of vids like VF5:R had. VF5:R seemed to have more steam behind it with the inductions of 2 characters and all of the hi tier players co-signed it. I just don't seem to feel the same energy R brought in this version. Maybe the Hi powered soundtrack or the over-the-top combos who knows or not adding another 2 characters. Maybe im just talking out my ass here. Am i the only person who feels this way?

 

I understand what you're saying. However, at the end of the day we have neither. I guess what you should be asking yourself is do all of these "minor fails" mean that there won't be a console version.

 

Right!!! I did'nt want to believe that or mention it because i would look like the old Silver haired idiot screaming "The End is Nigh!!"
Sega did it to themselves on this... one more character would've did the trick. Atleast that way he could be infused perfectly with the new game mechanics. To be honestly i can honestly see why some say VF4:FT was better than 5. I think R looks more fun that FS but the new moves are just sick.

 

I don't feel that way. Overall this one has me a lot more excited and interested than R even did.

 

Game looks sweet and I liked VF5 more than any iteration of 4.

 

I will continue to be optimistic. No reason to be a party pooper at this point I suppose. Not when shit is kind of picking up.

 

fs looks alot more fun and appeals to me alot more than 5/5r did
