Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown

Honestly I think some ol school "Wtf" damage off of some specific moves is something VF could use again. I used to play VF1 Akira simply to watch that life bar disappear lol

 

Those 'sweat effects' or water effects or whatever are the exact same effect that Capcom uses for the ink effect in SFIV. Subtle ploy by Sega like subliminal messaging? A little nod to the SF series perhaps? Certainly less direct than the April Fool's trailer.

By the way, anyone pick up on the nod to ST that they put into arcade VF5R?

Latest trailer looked bomb. All I need from sega is console relase to xbox and ps3 and you guys all have Tricky Monkey back. Till then I'm going to entertain myself with SSFIV which has an amazing community right now that's massive.

 

That should be incentive enough for Sega to release it in the states!

 

When this game comes out on PS3 I am going to trade in Tekken 6 for Virtua Fighter 5 final showdown. Tekken 6 sucks.

 

There are rumors that the location test will start this Wednesday or the next, but I'm not too sure on that. Sega would've announced it on Monday but didn't. It should be announced soon though, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for an announcement.

 

HAHA TheWorstPlayer, you really miss my scrappy eileen don't ya? I still remember when you showed me that eileen vs jeff is a difficult match up if I never learn his weight specific combos.

Sega have put up the FS trailer to download now. In glorius 60fps too bad it's not in HD though.

I e-mailed DK through his blog asking for the original videos in 60fps and it seems they listened! Hopefully they put the new one up too as well.

Why is SEGA being like that? What is Sega afraid of? Tekken 6 sucked SEGA. Sega, you don't have to be afraid to bring this game to the rest of Japan and the world. The world is waiting on you Sega. Stop being taunters and a-holes and just bring the game out already. Tekken 6 sucks and I am tried of playing Super Street Fighter 4. Come on Sega STOP DRAGGING YOUR FEET.

 

This could be part of their scheme from the start to get all the hype they could for the game before they release it to improve its chances of making a bigger profit then it would normally while they take their time to make it. Who knows it might all be part of their little game to play with our minds. This is just a thought anyways.

 

More taunting. It seems to me that we could have costume battles. All the more to play the game. Oh by the way I live in America.

 

I was wondering, if VF5FS ever gets to consoles (particularly US ver) would they still include items coming from licensed franchises particularly the Vocaloid keychains?

On a side note, I noticed that Wolf's Iron Head item is based on Jagi from Hokuto no Ken.
