    I hope Sega wont mess up the changes to the evade mechanics.
    I think the recovery time after failed evades shouldnt be modified too much.Delayed attacks work well gainst evade abusers in offline matches.It wouldnt be a good change to the gameplay if u could punish ur opponents with just everything u desire
    if they fail an evade.
    What Sega could do (have done) is giving every character the possibility to crumble opponents during evades with half circulars.I think the combos 4 that should be medium damage.Another possibility would be that if u hit somebody during evade u get more frames advantage or even ch.dont know

    most important: i hope Sega wont make the options gainst evading too strong...but im not really afraid.

    What im looking forward to most is the new combo and juggle stuff.Hope we get to see that soon in gameplay vids.Im not a huge fan of martial artists flying around.crumble that shit.

    btw:since the possibility is high 4 getting our hands on FS
    do u guys think we get a new character.I would like to see snake style

    I guess higher risk on evades could mean multiple things. I'd be all for the older frames so long as it works with the rest of the system.

    Ouside of adjusting frames, they could even make it like, if you get thrown or hit during an evade, you take additional damage you normally wouldn't.

    hmm.. i duno much about the new VF5 r system.. but isnt it easier to do eteg's now? Maybe thats why they wanted evades to have higher recovery?

    Im not sure what to think about these changes, I would like to know what they understand under "very High Risk"...
    However, this changes has made me curious what else will change in view of the VF system, I didnt expect such "dramatic" changes.

    Just revert everything back to 4FT as much as possible. 8 frame throws that don't clash please!

    Big thanks to Reno for the info. I can't really comment on the system changes since it's still pretty vague. But I did see two things that are highly disturbing.

    The Virtua Barbie syndrome that took hold of me in VF5 forced me to examine my status as a sane, adult, heterosexual male. I don't want to go through that again.

    This is what I was thinking too, and/or make hits during a failed evade automatically be a side hit with a recovery CH property. This would make evading more risky.

    As Jide mentioned, in a beta shown for VF5 there was a scene showing Jacky doing a failed evade where the animation looked as if he were staggering sideways. So maybe failed evades will be visually represented this way.

    But how do you make a successful evade more rewarding? People are talking about obvious stuff like reducing the total frames, but I like to think AM2 has something else in store.

    There are two different hit ways such as Akira's 46P+K and 46P+K+G. It's much easier just increase 20% or 30% damage if you get hit by evading wrong side.
