Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown

Throw Clash matters to me...Just to see the effect in Tekken getting thrown out of attack is frustrating. VF is a more polished system so let it stay that way. No throw clash along with 8 frame throws? Fuck outta here. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

The way throws used to beat attacks in VF was nothing like it is in Tekken or SF, you high SDS?

 

Reno or anyone, any idea on a timeframe where SEGA may announce something about this game? Not saying console info even, just, anything.

Throw clash is one of the better additions to the game since vf4.

Throws dont beat attacks in VF >_> Clash isnt 'beating' the attack.

 

this should be an indication that they'll be sending VF5R to the console... I just wish we'll have VF5FS machine for us here in the PHIL!

 

Going by history, expect a location test to be announced out of the blue later this month or next month.

 

Think beta was April or May for R, then it was released in June. I expect the timeframe to be similar as it was announced same month as R was.

i like the throw clash too. after playing about 20 minutes of soul caliber 3, i couldn't help but think of how nice the throw system works in vf5. i was like wtf, can i get a throwclash at least.

 

This game looks off tha hook! SEGA should make VF5FS(or VF5R or whatever ya feel like callin' it.) for those who actually want it... but that would take too long.

Maybe...make a certain amount of console ports and see how it does. If the sales are successful, then they should make more copieis or since we have our real names and location, SEGA can make the number of games that are equal to the number to the people who contributed and mail it to their location.

...but as always, my ideas are kind of crazy.

 

I just hope SEGA decides to release this game to the PS3.

They just seem to have abandoned this franchise for the home console & release crap like AvP.

In the end any changes to the play mechanics will just have to be adjusted to by the players.

 

I also hope that they port it, with internet play, to ps3. Online play REALLY improved my play level on SF4, HDR, T6, and TVC, so if I can play online on my PS3 (I'm not going to buy a 360) then I will be one happy guy.

PS3 even if it doesn't have online play (which is highly unlikely... right? I don't see why they would do something like that...)

The very basic PS3 controler , I've never really tried a stick... except once... and it was to fool around in Motor StormR It was a disaster, lol

 

Seems great, hopefully, we'll get this one... Sony's gonna have a big announcement at E3... what if it's VF5FS exclusivity?... Anyway, I'd love to get this game.

 

On topic:

I hope this game gets an xbox release as I think microsoft just has a better online community than ps3. My opinion is colored by the fact that I only have an xbox and my ps3 opinons are from friends houses and forum posts about the online experience.

If we're lucky enough to get a console release it will either be multi-console or just for xbox. I don't see any reason why SEGA would randomly choose to make the game a ps3 exclusive, there just isn't any previous information to support such a wild assumption.
