Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown online casuals tournament (PSN)

DO you mean we get our own desired background? Well in that case I have uploaded a few that do just
fine for me.

 

I talked to some people who play vf on xbox and I told them about this tournament, so they might sign up too.

 

Thats cool. For the rules and character chose can we pick a different character if we lose the first match if the matches are best out of 3 or 5 that is how all the tournaments are orginized but I dont know how you want to orginized it, let me know if we can have sub characters and the rules. Thanks.

Hehe! Glad you guys like it! Just thought I'd put something together. This should give you an idea of the quality I am aiming for (Especially for the other videos, which will be much better presented )

Cool. I have been practicing and found some new stuff for Lau, have some more training to do for the tournament.

 

Good Idea,

But the reason I am not allowing Sub Characters is:

1) Improvement: How do you improve if you run away from the problem ? (Considering I am a Lau player, I hadn't played for a while, and this was due to me thinking I had reached a road block with my Lau potential. But in reality is was me not having the time to practice and general laziness. Ever since I picked up the game recently, My Lau has improved significantly ). All it took was practice. Every character you main in is also your Sub . That's the whole point of Virtua Fighter (In my honest opinion): there is always a way out due to how deep the system is. I have a phobia for Eileen, Brad, AOI and Taka. But as opposed to running away, I think I will face them this time! " THE TIGER RE-AWAKENING " (That's my tag line for the PSN video).

2) Videos & Audience: When you have an audience watching the videos, they will find it easier to follow players if they stick with the same character throughout the tournament. It will also make the video editing less complicated! Look at the Contestant video for example. That was done in an hour lol


BTW: Those of you who have recorded your gameplay videos can also suggest or provide me with clips that I can substitute in place of the generic trailer vids.

 

BTW, I haven't had any feedback from @2ndFace , So I am guessing he won't be joining us in the tournament:

REASON: Substitution.

This position is open to all XBL applications

 

Its not running away, its just strategy . Because there are some players that you will not beat with your main character because of the bad match up or something else but when you have subs you have a better chance in doing better. Its all good though if its only one character then I will be using Lau, lets do this.

 

If I see him on psn I will let him know to talk to you because I play him sometimes .

 

I will use kage.
