its supposed to look like a dance. i think slaves used it in a revolt against some other people. they obviously couldnt make it look like a fighting style so they had to make it look like a dance they did as a daily ritual or something like that. they would practice the art and no one would care b/c it looked like a dance.

i think it looks elegant. a mix of shun and lei fei.

Just one video, however, Pai's in it. Check the section of the video where they flash through some characters and a glimpse of new items (hairstyle, etc)...

Balance does not exist, there's only degrees of imbalance. Don't kid yourself thinking this version is about tuning, it's all about keeping the money rolling in for sega until vf5. That means: keeping the popular characters strong (akira/lau/jacky/kage), giving the rest of characters some candy and attracting new players (come and play brad Tekken players, come and play kage sf players). Tuning = fixing existing moves, not adding new ones. If they want to tune, they should nerf most of the characters in the video, not giving them more asskicking moves. Nothing is gonna be different, but i do hope they fix the fucking save system, and give us VF2 music back. How many revisions do they need to realize the current music sucks?
VF4FT, you are gonna die to 2 sdes, or 1 sde at the edge of a ring. not tuned.. pwned~

now that's something to "oooh~" about.

Shang makes some good points here, its interesting to see how the most popular characters are actually considered Top Tier, possibly beefed up by Sega. Giving the other characters "candy" is the most likely possibility here, I felt they did that VF4 -> to Evo. But I do agree that Akira should be given that slight bit more power than the other characters, I mean, he is still "The man to beat".

Music in vf4 was pretty gay, still pretty gay in Evo. Actually my favourite vf soundtrack was Vf1 which I own for pc. I also agree on the note that Sega is milking the cash till vf5, but Im still happy Final Tuned is coming out. Actually the most horrid thing I can think of happening in Final Tuned is characters needing totally new types of game play, I beleive the change from VF4 to Evo was huge, Sarah feels like a mess in VF4 now /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Im considering your not linking those bold sentences directly together! /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

My point is I never really considered Sega beefed up popular characters, instead of characters being popular because they were beefed up. Whats wrong with that? Eh? Eh?

Everything before the last part is useless fluff info. The last part says that it seems to be a circular move.

Even now, the battles of the VF series are heating up. The new moves that have been added are perhaps the aspect that's garnering the most attention. This issue, we look at the moves that have been added to three of the characters. They each look very cool, and moreso look very useable.

The mid air double kick made famous(?) by Bruce Lee. Could it be like Akira's [6],[6]+[K],[K]?

Brad possessed a lot of strings, but most of them were easily stuffed by a low punch. This time, perhaps he won't be stopped so easily. Is the uppercut guaranteed? Or is it ...

(Can't translate the first two sentences well. No real info like Srider said). The first part of the move looks to have circular properties.

Anybody feel free to correct me, I haven't done translation for a while. Also, Japanese magazines tend to come out weekly or monthly, so they often don't have a lot of concrete details, and will fill pages just speculating
